Nice and very quiet location. Pleasant rooms but poor services at the reception area and at the bar (staff rather unpleasant and not very professional). Breakfast - for my taste - despite missing hot milk for the coffee OK. Stayed 4 days there.

Very convenient location, pleasant large sized rooms, excellent breakfast, free wifi in the lobby
everything worked to perfection. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The lobby was stacked
with Newspapers and magazines in English which was helpful. The english channels help in
keeping aware of what,s happening in the rest of the world.

The hotel seemed further from the metro station than we expected, but once we got to know the local area, it was good for sightseeing. The Kremlin is a 10 minute walk away, and there are some decent restaurants within a 20 minute walk.

We had a large twin room, which was clean and functional. Breakfast (and everything else at the hotel) was incredibly expensive, so instead we had a much more affordable breakfast round the corner at 'Coffee Bean' at about 14 Bolshaya Nikitskaya ul.

Like many other hotels in the region, you can access free wifi in the lobby but have to pay for it in the room - which is a little annoying.

Courtyard by Marriot in Moscow is a good central hotel near from the Red Square. Between two metro stations you can go wherever you want in a few minutes. Some of the most famous places in Moscow can be reached by walk.
Nearby a 24 hours supermarket is a good option when you need something late in the night. Whatever the hotel have a 24 hours restaurant and many services. Breakfast is very good as it use to be in Marrito hoteles chain.
Very friendly staff that want to help and satisfy your needs.
Against that:
- Rooms are not so comfortable than expected, no functional windows.
- Everything you need has a price, (no way to ask for an adaptor you will be charged at a very high price).

stayed here recently on a business trip and it was very nice hotel, good central location and very helpful staff. 20 minutes walk either way to Red Square and Arbat street the other way.
What you would expect from a chain like Marriott, really. Better leisure facilities would have been nicer but thats being picky !

A 10 minute walk to Red Square (says the receptionist) - count on 20 unless you speak and read Russian.

Nice clean hotel, pretty standard Marriott fare...very helpful staff. They will go out of their way to make inquiries for you, check trains, etc. Our Samsung charger broke on the trip over and the staff went through boxes of left behind plugs and chargers to try and find us a replacement.
There is a very nice courtyard with a bar and cushy seating if you have to wait for a taxi or just feel like getting out of your room but not all the way out...

The breakfast was worth the high price because everything, everywhere in Moscow is high priced. If I returned to Moscow, I would stay again., Try the on site restaurant just for the Borscht. It was delicious and a great latte night snack if you don't want to take the 10 (20) minute walk to Red Square for other restaurant choices.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good - no worries.

Spent two nights here during the World Athletics Championships, mostly because of its proximity to Red Square about 20 minutes walk away. Got a small room facing an inner inside conference hall, which made me somewhat claustrophobic. Didnt help that the air-conditioning was a little noisy and one had to keep it on almost all the time because none of the windows opened, which I always dislike. Had to pay for wi-fi in the room. The cost of the food in the restaurants was astronomical, and may have explained why no one ever seemed to be eating there. I certainly didnt. I then moved to the Grand Marriott for four more nights and felt it was an infitely better place to be.

Room Tip: None. I suggest you find another hotel.
