This is a really nice international Indian restaurant that will make you feel at home in more ways than one. Very friendly welcome always received, coupled with helpful service and English spoken if needed. Once inside, you could be in any westernised city, and the food is just what you should expect. Good flavours, good quality, good portions, very nicely presented. No, it's not cheap, but nowhere decent is so in central Moscow. If you want cheap, try a chain. If you want authentic, try Russian or ex-USSR cuisine. If you want authentic Indian, try India!

This place boasts to be serving Indian food since the past 20 years but I feel it's Indian food for the the non-desis's - Desi's can expect meetha paneer and meetha chicken - there are other better options. And top it up with a biased attitude towards indians - ' are Yeh india se aya hai - na tip dega - Yeh yaha kya kar raha hai'

surely the best Indian meal in Moscow. I tried another restaurant before and was discouraged to try Indian meals again. Luckily I gave it a one more try and found this. The Soup, Kulchas and veggie was same as what I have in Baroda. The manager was very kind and courteous. Ambience was very nice. Might be bit difficult to locate once you get off from Metro Station, but calling the restaurant for location is the best option rather trying GPS of asking people around.

We went there with British friends that are regulars there. We saw quite a few other Brits that were longing for decent curry. Portions are large, so we ended up ordering only one main dish each, and shared appetizers, rice (one portion feeds two easily), and tasty garlic nans. My chicken tikka massala was excellent, I ordered it medium spicy (you can order each dish to your own taste in terms of how much spice you can tolerate) - and this was fine. Service was very good and attentive, we will definitely come back again. No sign of arrogance as noted in some previous reviews.
