The hotel is located in a small street close to the city center of moscow. The subway is in walking distance, so is the Kreml and the Red Square. The rooms are a bit old, but though clean and tidy. The staff is kind. The breakfast is good. I can recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a 15 min walk from Red Square and other major tourist sights. In just 10 minutes you can be on the metro to go anywhere. Fortunately the hotel is tucked away on a side street that seems to be mostly occupied by embassy buildings so it is very quiet and feels pretty secure. The front desk always had at least one person who speaks perfect English and they were extremely helpful. We had a minor upset in our plans because of a missed train but the man working the desk that night kindly sorted everything out for us with a few phone calls. The rooms aren't too special; pleasantly average by European city standards: small and basic with everything you need including a bathroom with a pretty standard tub-shower. We couldn't figure out how to turn off the heated towel rack, which kept our bathroom at a toasty banya-like temperature, but this would probably be great in the winter. The breakfast was fantastic for a western buffet, with plenty of eggs, bacon, fruits and veggies. The WiFi was free, fast and secure. The only negatives that I experienced were minor annoyances: our room's A/C unit didn't work and the fridge didn't get very cold. The front desk offered to deliver a fan to us but the fan never showed up. I wasn't too bothered since the temperature outside was pleasantly cool.

Staffs is professional and very helpful and I would like to say thank you very much especially thanks to Alexander. He was helping us to check in very early after long train trip ( 5 days without shower ) from Irkutsk. Hotels is located in the central of Moscow . Easy to access everywhere. Breakfast was good and the restaurant in the evening served a fantastic food. House Keeping Team is excellent and I always get a sweet smile every time I met them. Recommended. The worst for the money what you paid.

Stayed here before an organised Russian tour. Rooms are quite small but I guess this is normal for Moscow.

Quaint bed spreads and old fashioned wall paper give a real Russian feel.

The location is great, 10 mins walk from the closest metro station or you can walk to Red Square in about 20 minutes.

Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Would stay here again as good value for money.

Stayed in a twin room for 4 nights. The bathroom was tiny but the room itself was of a reasonable size. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a mix of residential and offices. Staff spoke good English and were friendly. The breakfast options were good and there is a cash machine on the premises. I felt safe in this part of Moscow, even walking back to the hotel at 10pm on my own. The nearest metro is Arbatskaya, which is about 10 minutes walk away. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Kremlin. Would stay here again as this is a good option in a city with very expensive hotels.

Have just spent 3 nights here. Good points include staff are friendly and helpful, restaurant next door has great menu and again staff helpful, though breakfast quite basic. Downside rooms were small, especially a twin share, bathrooms tiny. Plus housekeeping staff just barge into the room, without knocking at all, though experienced similar in Saint Petersburg. Also during the stay there was construction outside our bedroom window, extremely noisy, especially if you want a rest after full day of exploring.
