On the second day of our TJ Tours visit to St. Petersburg on a Holland America Baltic cruise, lunch was at Restaurant "Koleso". The staff appeared not to understand any English, but communication was easy and the meal was good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the menu was preset. A plate of chicken salad and a bottle of water was at each setting when we entered the restaurant, and fresh bread was baking in the oven. The salad was followed by a chicken soup and a veal stew. The fare was basic and filling (thanks to a multitude of potatoes in the stew!). The service was efficient, if not friendly.
