With its 360-degree view of the city, this trendy restaurant really is the place to see and be seen. Bellevue Brasserie offers European cuisine with Russian accents.

We found the food to be a little tasteless. The view is outstanding the best in SPB. Expensive I would go there for a drink not to eat

I have stayed at the Kempinski a few times and this is their rooftop restaurant. I've eaten here 9 or 10 times. The food is good. Not fabulous, good. The service is ok sometimes excellent, sometimes a little slow, its quite expensive. The view is brilliant though so book a table outside during white nights and enjoy! Its definitely my favourite rooftop bar in St Petes and isn't full of tossers like the one on top of the W hotel! The Kempinski is a nice hotel here, with nice staff and only second to the recently opened four seasons in my opinion.

Tired and hungry after a morning touring the Hermitage, we sought someplace close by where we might enjoy a nice lunch, a brief respite in a busy touring day. We found the rooftop restaurant in the Kempenski hotel, and it was perfect. We had no reservations but were easily accommodated. The view was fabulous through floor-to-ceiling windows. You can't see much down into the city, rather the view skirts rooftops, but the sky was stunning, a huge and ever-changing work of art. There are two outdoor eating areas though it was too blustery for us to try it. We enjoyed (to my husband's surprise) cold borscht and gazpacho to start followed by fresh salmon with baby vegetables from the summer menu. All was very, very nicely prepared and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. We felt very welcome and comfortable. BIG TIP: don't miss the third outdoor terrace you might not notice off the back of the restaurant. It offers a stunning, unobstructed high view of the domes of the Sacred Blood Church. A spectacular spot for photos.

You come where for the view in the summer time. Solid food and excellent service. Highest wine list prices I have ever seen but St Petersburg is not cheap.

During our recent stay at the Kempinski Moika 22 we had a nightly habit of heading up to the roof for drinks, to enjoy the view and to relax a bit in the cooler night air after midnight when it started to darken a little. The view of the city is quite nice. Seemed to be fireworks and chinese lanterns floating overhead every night. Reasonable selection of (pricey) drinks. Efficient service. We did actually eat dinner in the restaurant once on the day of arrival before heading to the Mariinsky. The food on the summer menu was all very tasty and nicely done, but definitely on the pricey side. Although there is the possibility of some sticker shock for our first meal in SPB, as most other restaurants were not exactly inexpensive either.
