The hotel is clean and in order. It has a good balance quality-price.

We stayed in the Caesar hotel for two nights last week. I choose this hotel because of exquisite location and we were ready to meet some troubles as the price was quite moderate. We arrived in the hotel at 22.00 and the twin room with extra bed wasn't prepared. It took 40 minutes to check in. There is no elevator. (our room was on the fourth floor). The sound isolation is very poor. There is a wardrobe, TV set, a small fridge, a phone and a hair dryer in the room. There is only one (!) iron in the hotel. the room is not spacious. With an extra bed installed there's a narrow aisle left. The furniture and linen look cheap and shabby. The breakfast was very moderate. Nobody cared about it - there is a lot coffee shops and bistros nearby. I have to mention that the security level is very low. The stuff was friendly but some times ignorant of how to deal with some situations. Considering our room hadn't been prepared on time we asked for late check out for free. It took 20 hours to decide if the hotel could privide it.

Hi everyone,
This was our second time in Russia and the last time we were here we were lucky enough to come across this hotel!
It was really great, very friendly personlal, spacious and clean rooms, everything is new and nice but what was even greater plus is the location, right in the heart of the city!
This time we have booked a room in the same hotel but in a different location (I think this hotel has 4 different location) and what I wanted to say is that it was even better!I Even though it was very small we could everything was just amazing! Large rooms with italian furniture, clean and very nice! The location which was on Pushkinskaya street is even better than the other one!I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Very nice place to stay!

I really struggled to find accomadation in St Petersburg on the budget i had set myself. I Found this hotel and took a chance as there were no reviews and very little info on the internet about it. But the few photo's i had found looked ok.

When we arrived at the hotel we were asked if we wanted a double or twin room. We asked for a Double but ended up with a twin. We decided against mentioning it, as perhaps they were trying to tell us something about being an unmarried couple! The room was very basic but also very clean and the shower was a good one!

Health and safety in the room wouldn't pass uk standards but if you don't mind getting your foot chipped on a dodgy floor, you'll be fine. It all adds to the experience of being in Russia.

Our room was on the 4th floor and with no lift it was a struggle chasing the woman up the stairs who showed us to our room.

If you look for a peaceful nights sleep this hotel was very quite.

Breakfast which was included was very basic, Toast, cheese and ham. Cereal and some biscuits. but we made do and there was a tea/coffee/water machine to use. However it greatly depended on the day as somedays the breakfast had dissapeared before we had a chance although most of the time someone would come along and refil things eventually.

Location was fantastic right in the heart of everything and we could walk every where around the city from it. Location is deffinately this hotels strong point.

The staff were very helpful and dispite the language barrier tired to help us. They even arranged a taxi to and from the airport. For a lot cheaper than if we had got one when we turned up. I deffinately recommend booking your taxi in advance.

It certainly wasn't luxuary but was clean and comfortable and it gave us a bed to stay on. IF you like luxuarys this might not be the place but in terms of location and budget accomedation i think we did well.
