Location has been thoroughly discussed; quite good, not the very best, but not bad at all. Sound isolation very good. Hotel decor is modern trendy, not high class but warm and cozy trendy. Unlike other reviews, staff is still russian, and therefore not too warm or friendly, but acceptable for russian standards. Business class room, adequate size, not very big, but ok for a few days. Beds very comfortable, nespresso coffee maker with enough pads and tea and chocolate. All amenities and items present. Bathroom ok, enough water pressure, temperature at maximum just right. Breakfast in atrium, nice atmosphere, food not great but quite standard and acceptable. Automatic coffee maker broken down 2 out of 3 days and staff ridiculously inadequate coping with it.

I stayed for three nights with friends and we all got an upgrade to a large, nice and comfortable business room. It was overlooking a busy street but soundproof is really great !
Location is fine but it needs a good 20-30 minutes’ walk to reach main points of interest. Breakfast buffet was good. I could return during a next trip to St-Petersburg.

The location on "Lytinney" Street isn't perfect, but this hotel is half the price of hotels very close to Nevsky Prospect. Tram #3 and #8 stop almost in front of the hotel, and it takes about 10 minutes to get to Nevsky Prospect, under $1 fare, about 6 am to about midnight. They are very frequent except after about 8 pm. You can walk to Nevsky Prospect, takes about 30 minutes. The nearest metro is Cheryskaya, about a 12 minute walk from the hotel. You can walk to the famous Church of the Spilled Blood in about 20 minutes. I think the best bet is to have the hotel call a city taxi, they come in about 10 minutes, and are 1/2 the price of the taxis you wave down on the street, and 1/3 the price of the hotel car service. Most drivers speak enough English to communicate where you want to go.

I didn't want to pay $450 a night for a similar better located hotel. The location wasn't really too bad. There are lots of 24 hour markets in the area. A nice looking Scottish restaurant across the street, and a handful of more Western style restaurants that are walkable.

Food in the restaurant was excellent. I especially like a salad with grilled vegetables. I don't like that they allow smoking, including really big cigars in the adjacent bar, which is too close to the restaurant. It's a bit unreasonable. If you can't sit in the far corner of the restaurant, you will be attacked by nearby cancer smoke.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke outstanding English.

The walls are about three feet thick, and well insulated, so you won't hear street noise. The room was quiet, spacious enough for two, good lighting, minibar, BBC on the t.v., (no CNN), and a handful of other English t.v. stations, nice bedding and towels, extremely clean all around. Free wifi internet worked great and was fast.

I didn't have breakfast there, but the prices were on the high side, but I'm certain in line with other hotels in the city. They give free apples in the lobby.

Really everything was excellent, but the location will not be right for some tourists, especially if you are very tight on time. Otherwise, you will save lots of money by staying here, and it's a nice place.

And I happened to be there on my birthday, and I guess the Radisson guest program lets them know that, and they sent a bottle of nice Russian champagne to my room. Very nice!

Room Tip: higher floors might have nicer views. Some rooms face the interior courtyard, kind of dark and dreary views. Try for a street view, it's still super quiet.

We stayed in a group of 24 ppl. Very nice and modern hotel. I loved their shower, small room but heigh ceiling and well equipped!!
Dinner was extremely poor!! Breakfast was ok
I liked the calm rooms, comfy beds and friendly staff.
Hotel was too far from Main Street though...a pity. Otherwise to be recommended

Returned to th ehotel after 3 months, and got upgraded to their business wing - definitely huge improvement on the standard room, in trems of space and quietness. The only thing that continues to let this hotel down is breafast, cont put my finger on it but it just isnt right. The front desk staff are wonderful - such a change for the more usual russian service (but i was coming from Moscow, so anything will be better after that).
Will be back, if only to see if the breakfast is better :-)
