“Train lovers, go here first.”
Reviewed 10 June 2013

Nice an huge collection of trains, no model stuff, just real size and shape.
The trains is i different condition, some bad other ok, but they had alle done there service on the tracks so to speak.
One drawback, you cant get inside the trains (maybe possible on a guided tour?)
There should be a subdevision og the place in the south of the town with much more trains, I have to look future.

“Great collection of Soviet trains!”
Reviewed 6 October 2011

This outdoor museum is a great collection of about 80 pieces of rolling stock, passenger cars, engines, and even cars with artillery and a ballistic missile (see photo)! Cost is 120 Rubles (about $4)/adult. The captions are in English and Russian. The Russians must find it very interesting as well, because we saw a wedding party there. The bride and groom had climbed up on the front of an engine and were having their photo taken.
The site is all on the level, therefore wheelchair accessible. There are toilets, also a few benches but no shelter from sun or rain. No gift shop or food for sale.
The museum is a little hard to find. Take the metro to Baltiskaya station. The museum is 400 yds away behind the old Warsaw (Varshavsky) Railway Station (address is Naberezhnaya Obvodnovo Kanala 118).
