Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg
Ranked #34 of 359 Hotels in St. Petersburg
Certificate of Excellence

i have wanted to visit St Petersburg for many years so when the Corinthia came up for offer, the opportunity couldn't be missed. This is simply the best hotel we have ever stayed in; the staff, the room, the food, absolutely everything could not be faulted. The reception staff, bell boys etc. couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The staff attentiveness was beyond the call of duty! We stayed in an executive room allowing us access to the Executive Lounge which was a bonus; snacks and drinks (soft and alcoholic including champagne!) available all afternoon until 8.00p.m. Whilst we were in St Petersburg I celebrated a 'big birthday' and the icing on the cake was, indeed, that - we returned to our room to find a beautifully decorated chocolate cake with a lovely hand written note from the Guest Relations Manager wishing me happy birthday!

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking a courtyard which was unbelievably quiet

From the moment we arrived till we left our wonderfully comfortable executive club room a completely enjoyable & relaxing stay. Fine bedding, feather pillows, very well sound proofed room, this hotel is superbly located for all the stunning sights of St. Petersburg whether you choose to walk, use the metro, bus, city taxi or hotel car. The Manager, Mr. Pere & his team run a very tight ship. Extremley helpful, courteous staff, terrific breakfast & club facilities. Fast efficient wifi; good English spoken by staff, immaculate room service. Would definitely return & highly recommend.

Room Tip: Didn't view rooms other than executive club. Ours was not overlooking Nevsky and was totally qui...

The Corinthia offers a superb central location, great rooms, attentive courteous & helpful staff together with a world class breakfast buffet. All in all a very pleasing & comfortable hotel. Highly recommended and we will stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Upgrade to an Executive suite at minimal cost.

Good location and good rooms with free wifi which works, at least most of the time. On arrival you feel like its a 5 star hotel and service is great. Standard Rooms are small but well appointed and comfortable.
The only let down is the breakfast room which is layout in a tight space fr the buffet and between the ables. there is little choice and poor service mainly dominated by staff walking into you Everytime you move.

As family is home @ Moscow - we wanted to escape for a weekend. So we became first time visitors to amazing St Pet. We were taking the express train and therefore were looking for a hotel with city center location and close to the station. Et voila 'Corinthia'. We had two different room types one has just been renovated and one was a little oder - I would say, need renovation soon. Nevertheless the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had birthday that weekend and got a very nice letter and a cake which was eaten up by the family immediately. Breakfast large choice and starts from 7-11. nice view over the main shopping street. we were trying the bar first evening and it was very nice, live music Piano & vocal. From the hotel we explored the city by foot. main attractions are either on front of the door or you can walk. we also used the hotel car to get to Pushkn, which was also very efficient and uncomplicated.

We will come back :) to St Pet and Corinthia!

Room Tip: go for the new rooms - a bit more expensive but it is worth it :)

Can straight away tell this is a 5 star hotel when you walk in. Really nice lobby. Was offered Champagne (or orange juice) when I checked in. I had a standard room which over looked the internal courtyard which was nice. Can only imagine what the higher grade rooms are like.
Couldn’t get a better location. Right on Nevsky Prospect. I was here for work but also spent the weekend here. Could walk to most of the tourist attractions. Managed to walk to the Peter and Paul Fort (30 mins) and Hermitage Museum (25 mins) in temperature of -10c.
Gym was good. About 6 Cardio machines and 3 weight machines and free weights.
Hotel is expensive for dry cleaning etc. Tip = come out of the hotel, turn right and walk for about 10 mins to the square. Cross over to the other side of Nevsky Prospect and there is a big department store called Stockmann. In the basement is a big supermarket. I stocked up on drink and snack from here. There is also a dry cleaner here which is half the price of what the hotel charges.
Only gripe I had was with room service. I ordered a Ceaser salad without Chicken and dressing as I am vegetarian. It initially came with Chicken so I sent it back straight away. They came back in 10 mins without the chicken. When I started to eat after 10 min I found it had dressing and bacon bits. I gave up after this.
Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Definitely recommend Three Amigo – Mexican restaurant about 20mins walk and for home comforts there is a Pizza Hut across the road to the right.

Room Tip: Stockmaan department store across the road to the right has a massive supermarket in the basement.

The hotel was very central placed on the main street Newvsky Prospect. A great big lobby where a large group could gather to have a beer. Free wifi in the hotel, including the rooms. They served breakfast until 11 o'clock :-)
When I come back to St Petersburg I will stay in Corinthia :-)
