I stayed at Hotel Moscow for 2 nights in April 2012. This hotel is very centrally located, being just a few minutes walk off Nevsky Prospect, the main and largest street in St. Petersburg. This proved to be the best part of my stay in this hotel.

The check-in experience was fuss-free. The rooms were spacious enough and they were clean and comfortable. No complains about that. The daily buffet breakfast was alright. Not a whole lot of variety, but still it was acceptable. The only complaint I had was that there were very few seats available, and everyone had to share seats with other guests. Other guests might consider this a cosy arrangement, but to me it was a logistical failure.

The hotel is connected to the adjacent shopping centre, and this proved to be very useful to me as I frequented the shopping cente during my stay there. There were two staircases connecting the hotel to the shopping centre; one at the lobby and the other on one of the guest floors.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers. The rates are reasonable, the place safe and I had a smooth, pleasant experience there.

Acceptable hotel for reasonable price. It's quite close to the subway station. The hotel itself placed inside a big soviet building. But the rooms are small. Breakfast buffet is really not bad. You can use free WiFi inside the rooms but it's really slow.

great location... hotel is situated in the beginning (or the end) of one of the main avenues of the city, in few minutes you will find yourself in the main nevsky prospekt boulevard, masterpiece of arhitecture, from which you could reach each one attraction of the city. the hotel, itself, is clean, rooms are small (as well as the bathroom) but after a day spent in a city-walk, there is no time to wonder around... just shower and nice sleep. i had a room with a view towards a monastery and a nearby graveyard were great russian writers, composers, actors and other artists were burried.

Had a single room booked but ended up with a suite and river view. It's all a bit 1960s but clean and spacious and new bathroom. it is a good 30 minute walk from the Hermitage etc.,but a nice walk along Nevski prospect. I will use this hotel again.

We were a group of 26 and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is huge! And consequently, a longish walk to your room. Our room, on the 5th floor, had a wonderful sweeping view of the Neva river front. We had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary breakfast was good. At the hotel money changing facility - the rate was good. The only drawback was that the hotel does not provide complimentary drinking water bottles. However, right next door is a shopping mall with a 24 hour "Prism" convenience store.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floors facing the Neva river.
