A very long way from town, nowhere to walk to. Impressive entrance but when you see the bathroom you wonder how it got 4*s, all there is is a soap dispenser, no shaver point and no adapter available to borrow from reception. The only bottled water for sale is via a machine. Cashier unable to change money. Buffet food was always tepid and there were no vegetables apart from potatoes one evening. I will not be returning to this hotel on my next trip

Room Tip: Please give this one a miss

The foyer is impressive with shops and bars. The room we had was ok,mould round the bath with cheap soap dispensers. No nicities at all. You could get a kettle at the reception for a small deposit, there was no charge for the kettle, needed own tea bags, coffee etc as there were none in the room. The buffet breakfast was ok, a bit of a bun fight. The food in the evening was dreadful, didn't try the other restuarant as we on a tour and the food was included. Did try to get a drink in the bar, after 15 mins of being ignored we decided to risk the road and go to the Irish Bar. Very unfriendly staff,Vodka tonic and a beer cost £12. Made a hasty retreat to the supermarket next door and bought drink there.
The Hotel is far from town and the metro was about 10 mins away. Wouldn't bother with this Hotel again.

We stayed there for 3 nights as part of a Russia tour. It was really huge and it was full in july. The staff was prepared to serve this big volume of guests. Location is on the outskirt of the city, just next to the sea. The bus line can take you directly to the city center. Food is good and the room condition is rather close to average than very good. Gym and water park excluded of the room price as they are operated by 3rd parties and the entrance fee is quite expensive.

The transport to the station is very frequent and very cheap except if you are new to the area and get a taxi they do like to rip you off except if you haggle which is the local custom i got a rr500 fare reduced to rr150 after walking off twice the hotel is clean and tidy with helpfull staff who spoke english or at least tried to speak english sometimes they just got another person to help me or used google translate the internet is ok but expensive compared to the pub on the beach which gave you a large bear and free internet the porter was very helpful with telling places to see and visit during my six night stay the swimming poll was fantastic with all the slides and different pools i have already decided to come back next year

Room Tip: don't go in a tourist group go as a solo/family as this way you get the best rooms

I stayed here to visit an exhibition at Leninex. Very handy for this only 30 mins walk away.
However this is a vast and impersonal hotel mostly given over to tourist parties on coach tours or a stopover from visiting cruise ships. This is a long way from the main attractions of St Petersburg if that is why you are here!.
The rooms are OK - standard Park Inn. There is a fridge / minibar, but it is not stocked. You can have it stocked if you pay a deposit or leave an open credit card charge with reception. Can I do this? No! Why? We can't be bothered. Typical Russian standard of service I'm afraid.
Worse than this, I stayed during an upgrade to the Wifi service. The front desk sold me wifi time for when they knew it would not be available and then would not give me a refund. Egregious.
The lobby bar and restaurant are OK. There used to be 2 restaurants and a shop on the top floor but these are not in use now - shame. Especially since there isn't another convenience shop in the complex and most of the vending machines (on every floor) are broken.
There is a supermarket and an Oirish bar within a short walk. If you want to got to the "main" bits of St Petersburg, be prepared for a 30 min ride in a taxi.
It is handy for the beach, but that isn't spectacular either.
Will not stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

Location of this hotel is too far from Petersburg historikal dawn town. Metro station is also far away. Taxi is only way to rich this hotel. Rooms have nice view for example to Baltic see. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is OK. Hotel is huge. Way from main entrance to rooms takes about 10-15 min.

We were on a "First Class tour" (with Trafalgar) and unfortunately this was not a first class hotel. The best part of the hotel is probably the foyer and the view from there looking back to the city of St Petersburg.

It is not centrally located - a fair distance from the city centre. The room had minimal amenities, eg. no air-conditioning or fans (needed on a hot July night), no ironing board, no fridge, no coffee/tea amenities, which really is needed for a 2 night stay, however it was modern (for Russia's standards) and quite clean. The TV, lighting and room size were all fine. The bathroom was a good size but the tiles were pretty stained.

Internet at the Business Centre charged 100R for 15mins.

Unfortunately due to no wake up calls by the hotel, half the passengers arrived at the bus just in time however they missed out on breakfast - not a good start to their day.

The bar staff were friendly and very attentive.
