“Street of Dreams”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

Strolling along Nevsky Prospect offers much to the careful observer. On The Hermitage end of the street you'll see amber carvings and copies of Faberge eggs gracing display windows. Further up the street you can visit a "Museum of Chocolate" to see birthday "jewel boxes" made of chocolate and take in the sweet scent of the small shop. Shops with fur hats and other specialty goods have some interest; and sidewalk cafe's and restaurants abound.

“St Petersburg's High Street”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014 via mobile

A good place to orientate yourself in St Petersburg. This wide long avenue is buzzing at all times of the day and is a most enjoyable place to walk- crossing over waterways, passing churches, museums, restaurants, coffee shops and high end clothing shops. ( I happened upon some traditional Russian dancing and music in a courtyard outside a church on a Sunday afternoon.)

And of course there are the essentials for tourists, like the 24h currency exchange kiosks. There are plenty, so do compare rates.

“One of the highlites of St. Petersburg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

Good mixture of history, architecture, shopping, improved restaurants (take russian cousine). Its worth to have a hotel on it or close to it. Nightlife is quite different.
