This hotel was booked through the tour company (On The Go) that I used for my trip to Russia. I thought the hotel was just fine. In the lobby there is a restaurant with a bar and cash machine. Off to one side is the restaurant where they serve breakfast. The breakfast had a lot of offer - some you will want to eat and some you won't. There is a small gift shop on the 2nd floor.
You can take the stairs or elevators to your guest rooms. The guest rooms are small but adequate. When I showered the first morning the water was scalding. I figured out the next day that I needed to leave the knobs on cold, then turn on the water and adjust the temperature to warm.
The hotel is connected to a "mall." That is what they called it but I would call it a few 1980's shops. There is a door that leads to the mall that our rooms keys were suppose to be able to access. It didn't work so I went to the front desk to tell them. They said it would be fixed soon. Two days later it was still broken. There is also a grocery store behind the hotel and across the street.
The hotel is only a few stops from downtown St. Petersburg which is nice. There several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
