This is an average hotel with probably average pricing for St Petersburg. It is in an ideal location about 1 1/2 blocks from Nevsky, St Isaac just around the corner and the Hermitage a short walk away. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast room is in a restaurant about 50 meters from the hotel and its opening at 8AM was sometimes a challenge. Rooms are adequate and clean. It has a lift - a major bonus to those with luggage and/or weaker legs (mine). It is worth a return visit.

Room Tip: Get away from streetside rooms or make sure that the windows are closed and the a/c is on. There is...

We returned to this hotel after staying a few years ago and found the staff very helpful with both tourist and other information, they all had good English and were pleased to assist. Our room was smallish, clean and had a nice modern well-appointed bathroom. In the reception area there is a coffee/ tea machine available 24/7 as well as internet there and free wifi in your room. The location allows excellent sight-seeing and is close to Admiralty, the Hermitage, St Isaacs and a short walk to Nevsky Prospekt and all the sights along the way. The downside this stay was that breakfast was late (8am) and in the restaurant next door. There, one person struggled to set up by 8am so that it was usually 8.30 before the water was hot enough for tea and basic breakfast appeared.

Room Tip: Avoid the breakfast option is you can and look elsewhere

Spent a week in the large corner room with wife & child. Impeccably clean, all of the staff speaks English and love to help. Free internet, small breakfast included in the price (before 8 am you'll get a picnick pack), coffee machine in the lobby anytime accessible for you. A definite and resounding YES for the location and price. Cleaning lady did my wash for a very fair price.

We stayed there four nights first week September 2013. The rooms are well maintained though small as one would expect in this inner city location. Self service tea/coffee is only just ok however so many cafe-restaurant choices close by. Walking this area of city is so convenient and safe! Only disappointment is the "simple" breakfast in cafe next door and desk staff did struggle with their English but that is part of travelling!

We stayed 5 nights with our 3yr old daughter, and so much about the hotel was set up nicely for us. All of the front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful arranging restaurant bookings, taxis, walking directions, etc. They even kept our ice packs in their freezer at night so they'd be cold for us to use on outings the next day. The housekeeping staff left my daughter's dolls in different poses on her bed each day, very sweet. We stayed in one of the large suites, plenty of room for 3 or more. Refrigerator in room was nice to have. Huge bathroom by Euro standards with jacuzzi tub and shower. Very clean and quiet bedroom even with windows onto the street, good curtains for the white nights, and large comfortable bed with decent pillows. Air conditioning was a bonus for the rare hot spell during our summer visit. An interior lift means no stairs, nice for families with luggage and buggies. There's no restaurant, so breakfast (included) is at one of several local places close by, the one we went to served average fare. Hotel is nicely located with just short walk to Nevsky, river, restaurants (we highly recommend King Pong Kafe for good, well-priced Asian food and English speaking servers). Overall it ticked nearly all of the boxes for a good family hotel, from what we know somewhat uncommon in St Petersburg, and one of the better arrangements we've found traveling through Europe. It's not fancy or lavish, just a very solid and comfortable place, has to be one of the best hotel values in this price range.

Room Tip: Suites have large interior living space (no windows), dark and quiet for sleeping babies/toddler/chi...

We stayed here for one night prior to a cruise. We had two rooms for our party and both were very clean, relatively quiet - you are on a busy street. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. We picked this hotel because of Trip Advisor reviews and were very happy with the choice. I suppose if I were staying there for a week I might quibble about breakfast or room sizes but for a short stay when you want to maximize your time it was perfect. As soon as we arrived from the airport we began exploring and found many of the sites we would visit the next day before using the hotel arranged transportation to the ship. They also arranged the pickup of one of our party from the airport. Everything went perfectly. It's an easy walk to St Isaac's Cathedral, The Hermitage (buy admission tickets online in advance) and the Church on Spilled Blood. We would highly recommend this three star hotel with great location and service.

we stayed there in sept. It was during the G20 summit, so some of the places we wanted to visited were closed. Overall the hotel was conveniently located. It was easy to get around. The staff was very helpful, the rooms clean. It was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone
