The problem with our stay here is that it followed our stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow, which was truly extraordinary. The Four Season's location was terrific, in relation to the Hermitage complex. The service was excellent with just a few hiccups, but I don't expect absolute perfection. When they made a mistake they did quickly correct it. The personnel was very polite and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean, as well as well appointed. We had fresh fruit and sparkling water every day. My main problem was with the bathroom, which was great for one person, but not for two people trying to get ready in the morning. Two sinks would have helped to keep us from stumbling over each other. But the attention to that kind of architectural detail, to me, makes the difference between a very good hotel and an extraordinary one.
I also took exception to the high price for WIFI. Please, charge me $40 extra for the room and don't nickel and dime me!
