We spent a week here and it was perfect for exploring the city on foot. St. Isaac's Cathedral is only a few short steps away as are most of the main attractions such as The Hermitage and the Church of Spilt Blood. What really surprised us was the size of the rooms in the hotel. Huge ceilings and an enormous room space - suite size. We expected the rooms to be cool but we had to get staff to turn off the radiators because the room was too warm. Staff spoke enough English to assist us adequately and they were always very polite and helpful

The hotel was so centrally located that we walked to most of the sights everyday to Nevsky Prospect street. The Winter Palace was around the corner and we even walked comfortably and back to the theatre to see Swan Lake. The rooms we well equipped , large and very comfortable.Room service was great and came up with good quality stuff to cater to our 2.00pm cravings!Of course the xtra chocolates on tipping the the room service maids were welcome too.Altogether a good viewof the city's skyline from our 8th floor window-though reaching our room felt bit like a maze.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here and although the entrance is not impressive, the hotel was very good. The staff were very helpful and I was given a complimentary birthday cake and bottle of prosecco on my birthday - which was a nice surprise! We booked directly with the hotel by email as they guarantee to give you a better price than any internet site. They provided the necessary invitation letter to obtain a visa by return. The room was very clean and comfortable and bottles of water were provided daily. It is in an excellent location for walking or taking the Metro. Definitely recommend it!

Room Tip: We were on the 8th floor in a spacious room. The elevators are quite slow!

The outside and entrance door are not particularly impressive, but this is more than made up for by the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and good breakfast.
The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing the main attractions, the Metro and Nevskiy Prospekt street. The twin room was large and newly furnished. We would not hesitate in going back to the hotel or recommending it to friends

The location is very central and at walking distance from the main attractions.
The staff was kind, the room nice, clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
No reason for not staying here again.
