A short cab-ride from the main station, this is a perfect hotel for sight seeing in St Peters burg.A few steps away is the bus-stop from where you can catch a bus to most of the main attractions in town. The rooms though small are clean and well maintained for the reasonable price they charge. The front desk staff is very helpful specially Natasha, who even lent me 100 Rbls cash to pay the cab! She was always willing to bring out a map and orient us exactly how to get to the important sights.
Cafe Vera was the icing on the cake. We always have a problem with food, specially in Eastern Europe because we are strict vegetarians, But this place even had a choice of grilled vegetables and delicious rice, which was perfect for dinner, after a whole day of roaming around. It was such a relief, to come and have a great meal and relax instead of going hunting for food after a long day of sight-seeing. I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in St Petersburg.
