we stayed for four "white nights" in July. The hotel was more than I expected, especially in the attention to details. From the welcome drinks on arrival, to the helpful staff, and up to small details in room amenities. For example: a bug zapper (not that there were mosquitoes), a shoe horn, 2 free bottles of water supplied daily, Wi-Fi passwords for as many devices as you like, and reasonable 24 hour room service charges.

Bicycles are also available free of charge, as are daily newspapers. There were even two gas masks in a drawer, which I suppose are for use in case of a fire.

Another case in point is an ATM machine on site, which saves you the trouble of withdrawing money in public. The hotel is situated on a quiet street about 500 meters from the Vasileovstroskaya Metro station. I should note that until the end of August 2014 the station is closed till 10:30 am every day for repair work.

In the area there are also plenty of restaurants and cafes. You should take note, however, that many close at 10 PM, while others are open till 11PM.

Room Tip: Rooms on the third floor share a small lobby of their own.

Dear dberis,

Thank you for sharing your experience with TripAdvisor community! We do pay a lot of attention to the details as it is what makes you feel at home being far from your own home. Thank you for noticing our free bike rental service, we hope you enjoyed to explore the city this way! We will be glad to see you again!

We stayed in NashHotel in St. Petersburg for 2 night in may. The hotel is modern and new. Position of the building is near Vasileovstroskaya metro station (Vasileostrovskiy district).
Staff can provide you free of charges bikes for hanging around the city. With the bikes the journey to Hermitage museum is 15 minutes long.
Street in front of the hotel is quite and mostly residential area. Staff at the front desk is young but very professional and kind. I can remember a young gu speaking perfectly english and giving wise and useful advices for enjoying the city. Our room was on 6th floor and was a big double room plus a sofa bed. both bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the room was clean, quite and everything was working and functioning flawlessly. Bathroom was clean and overall ok. Breakfast is on average level according to me, and they probably can improve that part. In the same restaurant you can have lunch and dinner.
we spent 366 euros (17200 Rub) for 2 night with breakfast included. Overall experience was really satisfying, both from service and room coziness point of view.

Room Tip: Rooms on 6th floor are OK

NashOtel gets 5 circles from me, despite not the best location and still-to-be-improved breakfast service.

All the rest is really good -- the rooms are well designed (if you like mint green), quiet, cleen and the staff is motivated and efficient.

We especiall liked the welcome drink(s), the upgrade, and the baby crib.

Well done, our hotel!

We loved our stay in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was amazing! There was smoked salmon, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pancakes, fritters, french toast... everything was delicious. We also ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and had delicious fish and salads at very reasonable price (compared to London prices, probably a little more expensive than some local restaurants) the mushroom crêpes were fantastic.

We liked the location slightly outside of the main touristy area, as you get more of an idea of what the city is like for locals, and there were plenty of nice restaurants nearby, so you didn't have to go back into the city centre in the evening if you didn't want to.

The only slight negative point was that the hotel was really over heated (it seemed to us that all the restaurants and cafés in the city were also very hot too!) and the air condition did not work very well. The windows were unlocked as soon we requested it in reception and after this the rooms were a much more comfortable temperature.

We will be recommending this hotel (and St Petersburg) to everyone we know!

I visit Saint-Petersburg 5-6 times per year, so I’m an experienced traveler and tried different lodging – from the luxury accommodation till apartment renting. Now I can say that 3 nights at Nashotel was my best SPb hotel experience ever.
First – location. It’s situated on a quiet street (called line) on Vasilievsky island, my best place ever. It’s a 5-minutes stroll from Vasileostrovskaya underground station. From there it’s only one station to the city centre. Advantages: it’s a live residential area that is historic at the same time (the city officially began to being constructed here) with restaurants, pubs, shops etc. At the same time it’s not very touristic because all 1-2-day tourists are based on another Neva bank. And those who stay on Vasilievsky island are granted with the best view of the world – a view from the Academy of Arts to the enlightened English embankment (opposite).
The stuff is young, polite, efficient and extremely helpful (even with the free bikes for hotel guests). Upon the arrival we got a welcome drink. I liked the design of the hotel from the first sight – it’s modern, bright but calm at the same time. The glass elevators and an open atrium give to the building extra-space and air.
Our room was on the 8th floor. It’s a bit more expensive than a standard one because of the full glass wall but the view over the roofs of the island is priceless (and of course worth money spending) – especially during the season of white nights. You can clearly see all the landmarks of this best city in the world.
The room itself was spacious (it can be very important for American people who feel themselves not well in European tiny hotel rooms) and modern. It’s a business hotel that means that no luxury but maximum of comfort. And a carefully thought-out comfort is everywhere in the room – good sound-proof walls (bad sound-proofing is a scourge of SPb small hotels that were reconstructed from the apartments), nice bed (I suffer from backpains so I’m very sensitive to the quality of the bed), tea and coffee facilities (not common in SPb – it was a nice surprise) and a surprisingly spacious bathroom well-equipped with all necessary things and amenities. I would like to underline that the condition of the room is great – looks like it has been just opened and you are lucky to be the first visitor (though I realized they already have a great experience). I think there’s no need to mention that the room was extremely clean. They made an extra-bed for our child (until 12 y.o. is free).
And my special thanks to their breakfast – fresh orange juice, nice selection of tea, fried eggs with stuffing on your choice on demand, a variety of bread, delicious cottage cheese, pan cakes. They think about guests in details. It should be highly appreciated.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 8th floor has on of the best views in city. Try to to have breakfast before 10 a.m. on...

Regarding location, was a little out from town but the hotel was well worth the stroll. However, I found the hotel staff very helpful, very obliging and nothing seemed too much trouble.
The room was very good with a first class shower, plenty of room in the bathroom, the bed was a joy to sleep on, my normal quota of hour's sleep was easily surpassed, big and beautiful. As for St Petersburg, a truly beautiful city with unbelievable architecture. Went on an excursion to Petergof, on the Gulf of Finland, how the other half lived! Never seen so many boats on any river anywhere, the river Heva has everything except OXBRIDGE boat race! The eateries are also good around town, also food in the Nashotel is as good as anywhere. reception offered a welcome drink of champagne (or of your choice...a friendly touch I thought) , all in all I would not hesitate to stay here again..........that is my experience!

Room Tip: did not use swimming pool or fitness centre, did all that a million years ago but it would meet with...
