Korston hotel is a great option for business trips to Kazan.
Yet it is a bit far from the center, so it is not the best place o stay if you're on a touristic visit to the city.
Rooms are large, clean and comfortable.
The only little disappointment is staff at the reception. It would be nice if they smiled and were a bit more friendly.
Having breakfast in the restaurant at the 25th floor is almost a must: the view over Kazan is nice and the food is good.

There is so much to do.
We had a 2-meal plan included, so after the breakfast we had like a big buffet for lunch !!! The food was delicious & you have a looooot of choice ( I'm a vegetarian & I was very surprised by their offer )
You have a lot of shops in the hotel , bars , delicious food... it's BIG
and a walking distance from the centre, the mosque etc...
I'll be back !!!!

You could still hear the thumping noise from the the nightclub although it didn,t disturb my sleep. The view from 25th floor is astonishing. The price of souvenirs from the bookshop lower ground is cheaper than outside. There is money changer which opens at 9am with reasonable rate.

I participated in a conference, and was accommodated in this hotel. It is modern, fancy, with a lot of glass, glitter and shiny floors. I had a huge room with a nice view towards two directions. The hotel is on the top of a shopping mall where you can find expensive stuff and nice restaurants. And the top floor bar/restaurant has absolutely wonderful view over Kazan. You might be asked to pay for 'a deposit' to get seated - the deposit will be deducted from your final bill, though. If you just want to have a drink, the deposit might be more than your eventual bill.
The 'hospitality manager' of the hotel was absolutely fabulous and made huge efforts to get tickets to the local hockey game - and was helpful in advising about transport. Reception was also helpful in anything we needed.
I would have rated this with 5 stars, but I don't actually like to stay in a shopping mall. And... the TV speakers were installed also in the bathroom - and TV set to switch on automatically whenever the key card was inserted into the slot.

Nice clean, modern decor. Good buffet with plenty of choice and freshly cooked eggs to order. Good fun being located within the shopping mall. Plenty of facilities but the bedrooms were tranquil. I enjoyed my stay here.
