I didn't stay at this hotel, as I live nearby, but went for the Iftar buffet to break the fast for Ramadan and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated in marble with low lighting and fabulous flower arrangements and is extremely welcoming, compared to other hotels in the region. The coffee shop is also beautifully lit, which creates a friendly atmosphere and a feeling of relaxation. The coffee shop is not large, but the buffet was well laid out with a good selection of cold and hot favourites, including the usual kapsa, which was excellent, and a cooking station for pasta. The selection of desserts was also extremely good. Waiter service was discreet and well-timed. I must also mention the toilets in the lobby area as they were marble havens of excellence - oh to have this kind of luxury in my home!

I will definitely visit again, especially the try the Maharaja Indian restaurant, which gets great reviews.

A very comfortable hotel with an excellent Indian Restaurant. This a modern bright hotel which feels small and personal. I would highly recommend staying here.

I have never before seen a Movenpick that closes its main restaurant during the day. I came down at eleven to enjoy a late Friday breakfast and was told to wait until noon to be served. The menu (at The Blue, the lobby restaurant) featured a total of six entrees (plus six more on the kid's menu).

Barracuda cutlets, are they actually an item in Indian cuisine? Suffice it to say it is impossible to get a simple sandwich.

Don't bother with the newspaper stand; it closed quite some time ago it seems. I never saw the barber shop open. All in all, it makes for a lonely weekend on a business trip. No entertainment, no excursions to local sites, no bookshop.

This place seems more oriented to hosting weddings in the banquet hall than in running a hotel. Al Khobar has better places.

Beautiful, from the cool, calm lobby to the luxurious bedroom!
Totally blown away by the spacious bedrooms with beautiful furnishings, splendid bed linen and unbelievably sumptuous pillows!
Best Indian restaurant I have seen in a long time - innovative but intrinsically traditional cuisine, worthy of a few stars!
Blue Coffee shop buffet a really good deal!
I can't say enough in praise of this new hotel in Khobar!
Bravo to all the staff who are so helpful and friendly you don't want to leave!
