This was definitely not the most exciting of hotels that I have stayed in across the Middle East. There are better hotels in Dhahran. This looks like an old hotel never meant to be continued as one. The building looks old, the facilities are average.
The food is devoid of too much variety though they have a themed buffet every day of the week. The swimming pool and racket sports are a definite let down with poor maintenace. The in-room facilities are also average with not much to choose from.
A bit isolated from the heart of the city, you may need to wait before you can catch hold of some conveyance.
The hotel staff is not too bad though trying to improvise to help you feel better.

Overall, I'd give it a miss next time around.

The hotel is probably the only one in Dhahran and to be honest it does the job. It was once raited as 5*, but i dont think it is anymore as it has never been refurbished or renovated for decades. The rooms were nice and comfy it gives you this old classic style and you feel everything from the 80s when technology wasn't much around. The hotel facilities are very old and the restaurant serves a variety of foods from all cuisines and it has theme nights every day for dinner.

For a business travel hotel, this will definitely be a good place to stay, but if coming for a vacation to the eastern province, I will not recommend it as it is quite pricey!!

As others have said, it was once a posh hotel. The deco is very much like an opulent Mumbai hotel from the 1990s. The only concession tot the 21st century is the flat screen TV in the hotel room. It is comfy enough but not modcon. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, a standard now everywhere.

This hotel has to be one of the worst hotel I've ever stayed.
From check in experience to staff appeared unfriendly and unwilling to assist.

The rooms are not only old but historic. Certainly not tasteful. Everything smell old and dusty. The so called design is scary.
The restaurant is fairly poor in my opinion, and services comparable to the food quality.

Best part of this hotel experience is the moment after you've checked out and hoping you will never go back.

This hotel is like a large version of Faulty Towers. In its heyday, it was obviously something to behold but now the hotel is barely standing. Bathroom fixtures fall off, carpets are worn, furniture and colour schemes are circa 1968, and elevators sometimes work. The staff - bless their heart - try to please and the foot was very good but otherwise, boy is this a hotel on life support. Register at your own risk.

I was accommodated in this hotel by my company for more than 10 months during my assignment in Saudi. It's a decent Hotel with very old façade. The hotel's lobby is enormously huge. Food in the restaurant is very Tasty and they have considerable range from different cuisines. The service is of respectable quality. Rooms have dedicated Wi-Fi facility, 24 Hrs. Hot water and TV with Local and International Channels. Bed Linen, Bath Linen are very clean and are changed every day. Rooms are well maintained but they are old-fashioned as the Hotel was built long back in 1970's.
