While traveling for umra we went to masjid e quba twice because I asked from my mufti sahib he said yes you can go there as many times and can offer 2 Rakyat nafil. As many times to avail the reward. Initially I used to go there only once in my entire stay and offer 2 Rakyat only once.

The Quba Mosque is a mosque in the outlying environs of Medina, Saudi Arabia. Depending on whether the Mosque of the Companions in the Eritrean city of Massawa is older or not, it may be the first mosque as the Holy Prophet waited for Hazrath Ali to come as he was entrusted with a few tasks ( citation needed ).I have been visiting this mosque for more than 25 years now especially on the way to Makkah from Madinah for Umrah as I stop there and pray and then proceed to Makkah. One can find a lot of pilgrims depending on the season performing their Salat there especially for all those who are on the way to Makkah for their Umrah.

Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh

As mentioned at Surah At Tawbah Verse 107 - 110
"And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they will surely swear, "We intended only the best." And Allah testifies that indeed they are liars."

"Do not stand [for prayer] within it - ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves."

"Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."

"Their building which they built will not cease to be a [cause of] skepticism in their hearts until their hearts are stopped. And Allah is Knowing and Wise."

And also Hadith in Sunan Ibn Majah Chapter: 7
Hadith No: 1412
Narrated/Authority of (Sahl) bin Hunaif
"The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to the Quba' Mosque and offers one prayer therein, will have a reward like that for 'Umrah."

As a Sunnah Nabi Salallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam come visit Masjid Quba on Saturday

I had some sort stressful experience when i visited this masjid. The children outside the mosque were so pushy and borderline annoying. You got to be careful of your belonging. Better to fully ignored them. When you saw them a weak and easy facade they will stuck to you like a plague.

One should offer 2 Nawafil Shalat here and this will give you a Sawab of One Umrah. It was the First Masjid Build in medina by the Prophet Muhammad Shalallahu ala wassalam , family and sahabah. Very sacred place and easy to reach there by Taxi.

This is the first mosque built by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and located outside of Medina, Saudi Arabia.
According to Islamic tradition, performing Wuḍū’ (Arabic: وُضُـوء‎, 'Ablution') in one's home then offering two Rakaʿāṫ (Arabic: رَكَـعَـات‎) of Nafl (Arabic: نَـفْـل‎, Optional) prayers in the Quba Mosque is equal to performing one ‘Umrah (Arabic: عُـمْـرَة‎). Muhammad used to go there, riding or on foot, every Saturday and offer a two rakaʿāt prayer. He advised others to do the same, saying, "Whoever makes ablutions at home and then goes and prays in the Mosque of Quba, he will have a reward like that of an 'Umrah."

It is a wonderful mosque. Not overcrowded. Good restrooms. There is enough space for parking. There are few shops outside the mosque to buy souvenirs.
