This hotel is truly the best hotel in Guangzhou for one and only one point.
Of course the view.
Now, the team member have to stop thinking that they are the best because of the view.
The service for a Four Season is limit insulting for what they claim to be a great value for .
China is still china and the personal has to improve.
Management has really an issue with standard and operation...Stop blaming Chinese or staff!
If you are foreigner and employed in this country, we guess, it is because you worth it or you have knowledge that other do not have.
Start to train your personal and get on the floor...not just for dancing and they really have stop thinking that "get on the floor" is just a song.
Management there has to do something.
Our expectation from a five Star is simple.
Pay attention, understand our needs, deliver it, be efficient, be consistent and double check our satisfaction and if your are still here be more proactive.
Only the view here is consistent.
Sorry but, We don't pay for the view but for a sort of standing. Might be the Vogue of twenty first century of just staying in Hotel for the beautiful view and go to eat in the street but, us, when we travel we like our food at home and "Home is Hotel".
Of course you have always one person who manages to be the star of the stay but really in a big city like Guangzhou, they can find a lot of stars...don't think they know where to get them.
Main issue here is the communication and if we feel it and witness it as guest, we are not going to blame the waiters or tea girls(excellent by the way) who are waiting for someone to direct them.
Will definitely go back for the view and we will organise our breakfast, lunch, dinner and party somewhere else or in our room.

Room Tip: ...West is the best...view on the city

We spent one night at the superior suite with river view at the 87/fl at the hotel last Sunday and were most impressed by the decor, view, size and cleanliness of the room that made us feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. The staff at the reception counter was really professional. We noticed that the hotel has intentionally kept the floor of the washroom warm so it was very comfortable to walk on it barefoot, particularly after taking a shower! We switched off the light at night and were amazed by the Canton Tower thst was beautifully lit up.
However, the buffet breakfast at the Caffe Mondo was just average with limited choices.(A bit below expectation!)

Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou is the most sumptuous hotel I visited lately. Located in the city centre by the river, the hotel occupies floors 69 to 100 with the most amazing reception on level 70 with giant 30-storey void to the glass roof and 360 degree views. Rooms are exceptionally large with floor-to-ceiling windows, marble bathrooms, walk-in robes, TV-mirrors and great furnishings. Two restaurants with the choice of Asian or European buffets downstairs, impeccable service at both although we enjoyed the European style restaurant more. The famous Canton Fair is not far from the hotel and a direct shuttle was organized for Fair visitors, taking only 10 minutes. Great spa on level 69, highly recommended: get a massage or a manicure in this oasis of pampering. Free Wi-Fi in rooms, and a decent choice of international TV channels. Our friends who habitually stayed at Sheraton, paid the same price and their hotel was two notches down, so price-wise, it was a very good value as well. Giving it 5-star throughout.

Amazing hotel , worth spending one or several nights. Accomodations are awsome. Really one of the best hotel I have ever been. Looking forward to go again. If you go there, you should try the restaurant with its panoramic view.
