“Incredible!!”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

We had stayed in lovely hotels during our time in China and I never thought there would be anywhere more glamorous and classy… until we got to the Four Seasons in Guangzhou! What an incredible hotel with superb service to match - definitely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Our room was on the 83rd floor with amazing views across the city. The room was spacious, with two queen beds and floor to ceiling windows to appreciate the views. The bathroom was luxurious with a funky egg shaped bath which was HUGE and a separate shower room and toilet. We had room service breakfast and also used the minibar - both were very reasonably priced which surprised us. We had drinks in the lobby bar because unfortunately the bar on the 99th floor did not allow children even early evening - so guess if there has to be a negative, that would be it. Bu the lobby bar was nice enough and quite busy but the sofas are spaced out enough for it not to feel crowded.

We used the pool, which was nice and the shower rooms were really lovely. We also used the concierge service to book us train tickets and the service was impeccable.

I really can't praise this hotel enough - and can't wait to go back!!

Impressive service, impressive views, impressive decor. Four Seasons is an overall very impressive hotel with great convention facilities. And it's well located within Guangzhou making it easy to get to. It's my hotel of choice for business travel in Guangzhou.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff could not be more helpful and attentive. We felt like home. Buffet Breakfast at Caffe Mondo is amazing, with a huge choice of food and amazing service. To flavour exquisite Chinese/Cantonese dishes nothing better than Yu Yue Heen restaurant. And finally to enjoy a complex cocktail with an spectacular view and eclectic music, visit Tian Bar. Looking forwards coming back soon!!

We had a premium room with a river view, it was incredible! The room was very spacious with a huge luxurious bed, separate desk and living area and the bathroom was breath taking! The whole room and bathroom had floor to ceiling windows with stunning views of the city which made having a nice soak in the massive, deep bath even more relaxing. The staff were very friendly and professional and for a top of the range 5 star hotel the food prices were incredibly reasonable. We got room service a few times and the cost was typical for a normal UK dinner out. The room service staff bring the food on a tray to the room which they then cleverly turn into a dining table set up with beautiful cutlery and table cloth next to the window with stunning views of the city and river. The location was also very nice, right next to the newer area of Guangzhou where you can go for nice walks in the evening. We did have breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was £50 for two of us! This was the only fault I could find from an otherwise perfect stay (the breakfast was very nice...)

Room Tip: Get a river view with a separate bathroom, definitely worth it

Stayed 3 nights on the 92nd floor facing the Guangzhou Tower and river which has magnificent view both day and night. The room is great in size and bathroom amenities are of great standards from Bvlgari range. There is also Bose Home Theater system installed in my room.

The bed and pillows are so comfortable, the rain shower and oversized bathtub is just great! The only downside would be stains on the carpet (looks like spilled coffee). The hotel should have cleaned it as it is relatively new.

Breakfast on the 99th floor serves great coffee and fresh juices. Food are all prepared to the very details. We even discussed in great length how long should an egg be boiled to have it perfectly cooked the way I would enjoy eating it. Real great stuff!

This is now one of my favorite hotel!
