Was drawn here because of the Trip Advisor ranking, just like the awesome Peking Duck restaurant in Beijing that was highly ranked. Trip Advisor is now 2 for 3 in China (Yiwu was wrong).
Awesome Server - I believe his name was Jenny (spoke English and French very well; drank 2 bottles of wine with a friend and can't remember two weeks out).
The first night I wanted to take my female Chinese associate to taste French food. Food was exceptional. Steak and Salmon were Awesome. The Kilimanjaro Crepe was the best restaurant crepe that I have ever had. It is to die for. The only reason my crepes are better is because I use more bananas and Nutella. Champagne was good, but there was a sweet white that was just incredible.
The second night went to a restaurant on the Pearl River. Ate half of my steak (dry, pathetic) and drank an overpriced sweet red and said let's get out of here and go to Saint-Tropez for dessert and more wine. We all had Kilimanjaro Crepes and two bottles of the freshest tasting, sweet white wines both by Chinese associates had ever tasted. Both took photos of the label for future reference.
A phenomenal foot massage capped off an incredible two-night Guangzhou trip.
A little pricey but just as good as the best French restaurants in Toronto.
