We were sent to this hotel as a transit stop when travelling with China Southern Airlines, It was a wonderful surprise when we arrived at this hotel. It was beautifully decorated in the foyer and the reception staff understood English well and advised us exactly when we needed to leave the next day. The rooms were magnificent. So clean and luxurious. The location was great as we only had till mid day to look around and the reception staff instructed us how to walk to a beautiful parkland just down the road. Plenty of markets and shopping centres close by.

Room Tip: Don't think you could get a poor room here. Even though road is busy the rooms are quite soundp...

After a terrible flight on China Southern with another ten hours to look foward to the next day this hotel definitely made up for it; with a stunning room, glamorous decor throughout the hotel, absolutely fabulous bathrooms, soft beds, luxurious linens and a lovely garden and fitness center on the top floor.

The food in the hotel was ok not great but certainly not terrible, however if you walk outside and go all the way around to behind the hotel, there is a wonderful market with fresh cheap and delicious meals, buns, meats, and fruit it's an experience I would recommend as there's definitely no other tourists around and you do get far more for your money than from the hotel as well as a truely memorable layover.

We were put here on a long layover by China Southern Airlines. It is a nice hotel with clean and comfortable room and a restaurant in the hotel. The food at the restaurant buffet lunch was not that great and we would not recommend specifically. It looked like there is a KFC (!) opening under the hotel soon. There is not alot to do around the hotel. There is an interesting food market in the streets behind the hotel and there is a park with walking trail within walking distance (0.5mi) if you need some sunshine. It is very far from Guangzhou's attractions so we just stayed there. There is wifi which was nice. China Southern dropped us off and picked us up from the hotel and covered the cost of the room and a packed breakfast.

The outside of the hotel is austere and looks like average, almost shabby, shop lot.
But the inside is a totally different experience.
The rooms are modern and well equipped, with bath and good aircon, and a nice soft bed.
The restaurant serves good traditional food. Buffet had reasonable selection, fresh and well cooked.
Good value for money. Good restful sleep.
About 30 minutes from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport

Perfect for overnight stay

We spend approx. 24 hours here on a brief stopover the room was very comfortable and spotless. The food provided was minimal and other long term guest had a better choice. Some staff has a little English and we were able to communicate.

Very pleased with this free transit hotel. Our room was absolutely spotless and the beds are fantastic. As in most places, again hardly any to none English was spoken. The people are very very nice (even with my 7 and 3 year old running wild) I wanted to use their lunch buffet , which I unfortunately slept through but heard was fantastic for under $10 incl non and alcoholic beverages!
I checked out their dinner buffet only $13.50 with a huge choice of platters, looked amazing but only had less than half hour before shuttle pick up.
The top floor had some exercise equipment and an amazing water drop-feature coming from the roof. I saw a lot of pamper rooms but it was extremely quiet, I would definately ask for their packages if you travel without little ones!! I brought swimmers as it was steamy hot outside but unfortunately no pool. I didn't check out surroundings as it was too hot to walk around. Better than staying at the airport for sure!!

Although we only used this as a transit hotel, it was superb. The rooms were much bigger than I expected, a large modern bathroom and switched on staff. I'm not sure if it's handy to local attractions but tours can be organised through the hotel. If you are planning a trip to Guangzhou, I would recommend you investigate this hotel amongst others you are looking at.
