Stayed 9 nights for business. Check in was smooth. Club Lounge was amazing.
However, one particular staff member from the horizon lounge served me a beer and afterwards insisted that i give her a review on trip advisor and even handed me a card with her name on it. Even asked me to write a review on the spot and questioned if I have trip advisor downloaded on my phone. This is a first I've seen in any hotel I've stayed at. And to not even know my name or strike a proper conversation is beyond me. After that awkward encounter, I tried to steer clear away from her on other nights but heard her do the same to other guest at the lounge. Very weird! Management needs to look into this, as I can imagine others like me in the same scenario.
On that note though, there was exceptional service by staffs at the 2nd floor S.E. Asian restaurant and bar. Iris, Shaylyn and Charles made my nights at the hotel.
Rooms were nice. Housekeeping even folded my shirt for me and refreshed the fruit bowl everyday.
All in all, my 9 nights were very pleasant and was an amazing experience with my first Shangri-la stay.
