perfectly located within a stones throw from the airport, they even have a buggy if you cant bear the 50 m walk.... perfect if you have luggage

the staff are super friendly and helpful. extremely professional and hospitable

the room was just what i needed after a long journey, everything setup very well.
good design

they even have fruit laid out and a little cake , perfect cure to jetlag !
small things like free internet in your room, which is included for free....nice touch

they have a pool as well but i didnt have time to check it out

I have stayed at this hotel for several times, and I really hope other accor hotels could follow their standard of service. Email greetings in advance, prepared upgrade and the helpfulness of the staff. Too bad that I usually arrive late and depart early so I have no experience of their lounge. Wonderful breakfast as well.

A little note: The tarts next to the fruit plate are mediocre. Maybe chocolates will work better =) The bathtub could be bigger and deeper, there's so much space remaining in the suite's bathroom.

My deep heart recommendation for travelers having an early flight/late arrival.

I had a lousy experience with this hotel. I booked it as i had a 9.10pm flight to Sydney & was traveling from Hog Kong so wanted a fews hours to rest & unwind prior to my flight.

From HK rang the hotel & spoke with the concierge to arrange a pickup from the train station which is about 1 hour away. He refused to help saying they had no cars left. I pushed him stating i am sure there are more than 3 cars in Guangzhou - only then did he bother to help. He arranged an alternate supplier. I ended up wishing he hadn't. The car stank of stale cigarettes & the driver on a wet busy road at times reached speeds of 150km/hr.

Anyway i had one objective in staying here for 3 hours - rest up for my night flight. I intended to do this by having a soak in a bath & then a couple hours shut eye. Well the bath didn't even work - the water pressure was incredible weak & the water that came out of the tap continually leaked through the useless plugged hole. Result was all i could get after 20 minutes of running the bath was about 10cm deep water.

Next for rest - the curtains are pathetic & don't work. They don't run all the way to the end of the wall & there is a mirror running along the side so it picks up even more light & then funnells a huge channel of light onto the bed & speciifcally where your pillow is. Bottom line - lousy design & i can't believe this is an Accor hotel. An airport hotel by its nature has as its basic function a need to provide beds for guests resting between flights at various times & i would guess many times this would be during the day. To provide a darkened room for sleeping is a minimal expectation of any guest in this situation. I would never stay here again & by China standards it is a rip off.

We stayed overnight twice on a trip from NZ to Europe. Unfortunately, I had broken my leg a week before our trip so was confined to a wheelchair. We had informed the hotel that we would need assistance, and they did not disappoint.

We were met at the airport, before we had cleared immigration and customs, by a hotel representative with a hotel wheelchair, and helped through the formalities. To this point the airline, China Southern, had also provided exceptional help with a wheelchair and assistance. The hotel representative helped us onto a shuttle bus, and we were taken to the hotel.

All the hotel staff were so helpful, and courteous, the airport assistance really speeded up what would possibly have been a lengthy procedure otherwise.

We stayed on the executive floor which had a very nice, but not overly large room, and they even kept the executive lounge open for food a while longer for us as they knew we would arrive 20 minutes or so after it normally stopped serving. Our room was very clean and was ideal for a proper sleep after 12 hours in a plane.

The hotel being close to the airport, we wondered if we would be disturbed by plane noise, but not at all, even though planes seem to fly all hours of the day.

The service we received was exceptional, from everyone at the hotel.

Highly recommended.

Travelled through Guangzhou from Huangzhan to Macao. Pullman at Baiyun is a perfect stopover. We arrived very late at Guangzhou airport and it took us only 5 mins to walk to the Pullman hotel. The signs along the way from the arrival terminal to the hotel helped us find it quickly. The hotel provides a buggy ride to and from the reception if you have heavy luggage - very convenient indeed. Check-in was quick and friendly and an unexpected upgrade to a suite was a very, very pleasant surprise. The suite was beautifully furnished, both the lounge and bedroom were very comfortable. The only complaint was the hot water part of the tap in the wash basin in the bedroom was not working. There was another wash basin in the bathroom in the lounge area so no real issue but we reported it the next day. We wish we could stay longer to enjoy the suite and the facilities but unfortunately, we had an early start to Macao the next day. It was a brief but definitely 5 star experience!

It's so convenient being just a walk across the road from the airport. After 12 hours flying and another 11 ahead it was a touch of luxury to be able to lay down in a comfortable bed. Room very clean. Spotless sheets and towels. Appreciated the little extras like toothbrush and paste with the complementary toiletries.
Staff helpful and most had at least basic English.
