This is a European style resort hotel. Consequently it is a quirky mix of what Chinese people might believe a European resort is like and Chinese culture.
Because it is not a business hotel the reception staff do not speak English and the business facilites are limited and expensive. As a European visitor I enjoyed the strange mix of cultures. As a business visitor i found it difficult to arrange meetings and communicate with the outside world..
There are signs everywhere saying that photos are forbidden, but no-one seemed to be taking any notice. There are several restaurants with lots of European fusion choices. Breakfast was a standard buffet mix of Chinese and European foods.
I enjoyed the stay: the room was very comfortable and the staff were very obliging.
The river runs beside the resort so remember your mosquito repellent at night!
