“Better to be McLost”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2013

Reading the reviews, I hardly think I went to the same place. All we had can only be described as bad food. Oily, full of MSG, frozen ingredients and just plain not tasty. Plus, the inside is noise and the staff actually turned out the lights as a way to tell us they wanted to close the place down already.
Even if you´re right beside it at the Guilin Bravo hotel, it´s worth to grab a cab and go to the walking street to eat,

“Wish I McHadn't”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 November 2012

After the reviews, I was quite disappointed in most of the food. The wine was hot too.

Maybe we should have tried the Donkey, as the guys at the table next to my wife and I appeared to be really enjoying it.

“Great if you are looking for Chinese”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2012

We had a lovely lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Their "house" fried rice is the best we have had in China. We enjoyed a beef dish, spareribs and dumplings. The dumplings were really good. The place is clean and bright and service was excellent.

“Very good Chinese food selection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2012 via mobile

The restaurant, which is located close to the Bravo Hotel, was recommended to us by our guide. The place is very popular amongst locals as well but they have a English description and pictures on the menu so no problem for tourists. The food was really good and the portions rather big. Atmosphere was a bit loud but the interior was quite nice and not as cold as typical big Chinese restaurants in the area.

“Don't Be Fooled by the Name”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 September 2012

I didn't have high hopes of finding excellent Chinese food in a restaurant with a name like "McFound" but my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was here! Every dish we had was fantastic -- we went with both spicy and non-spicy options -- and the local beer we ordered was ice cold and went beautifully with it all. There were western options on the menu too, but we went strictly with Chinese (however, we saw a pizza go past us on the way to another table and it looked and smelled terrific)! The ambiance is quite pleasant, rather homey-looking and more Western than Chinese. The service was quick and efficient, and certainly amiable enough. They seem to do a brisk business, making it a bit loud and not exactly a place to go if you're looking for quiet, romantic dining. But if you're looking for very good food and reasonable prices I highly recommend.
