Good points: spacious rooms, agreeably decorated, good location near Bell Tower etc.
Bad points: No communal space except the lobby that opens on to the street; no western breakfast, bread but no butter; getting rather shabby, and repairs not done; no English spoken.
Strange points: it’s in a multifunctional block, with offices, flats, another hotel, and perhaps other things I didn’t see. From the lift in the lobby to my room I passed a flat and offices, and if I took the nearest lift to my room, I ended up in the lobby of another hotel. My room had a kitchen attached, with cupboard, a cooker hood, but no cooker, and no utensils. Presumably, some of the rooms do have these things, since the lobby advertises also “Holiday Apartments”.
Across the road, and therefore equally convenient are Days Inn and Ramada. May be worth checking those before booking.More
