The room was big and clean, also the single bed is large, good restaurant they cooked a special dish that we asked them, helpful staff they helped me to get at the city attractions.
They also had some discount tickets for the breakfast.

I enjoyed my 3 nights at this hostel, traveling with my 60 year old mother. The rooms were clean, spacious and the AC worked well. I thought that the location might be a bit far from the major sights, but it was situated near an entry to a series of back streets selling a huge variety of delicious Muslim foods without the crowds and tacky tourist feel of the Muslim Quarter. We ended up having dinner in the area twice at tiny little noodle shops with welcoming owners and curious guests. It was a great experience. It's also close to the West entrance of the city wall, which has bike rentals and makes for a great early morning sightseeing trip- there was no one on the wall before 9am!

The staff at this hostel are incredibly welcoming. At night we'd stop by the bar for an evening drink and the bartender and waitstaff were really helpful and friendly. They suggested that we visit the local Lama temple, which is only a 10 minute walk from the hostel. It was a great suggestion, and we also loved the tea shop across from the temple.

Overall, a great, quiet place to stay in Xi'An.

Although I read some reviews complaining about the location I found the location to be quite good. It was a 20-25 walk to the muslim quarters and if you walk through the back alleys instead of on the main roads you get to see some areas that are less touristy which was nice (lots of butchers etc.). None of the hotels are right in the muslim quarter so I think this location is comparable to other hostels. It was also a close walk to get the bus to the train station. We stayed in a double room and I don't remember much about it so I assume it was adequate.

The staff however were not able to give us a lot of information and their English level varied. Because we did not feel confident in the staff and their ability to answer our questions about tours we ended up booking both tours through Hang Tang Inn. Most of guests staying here during our stay seemed to be Chinese and there were rarely people hanging out in the communal areas. We ate breakfast once at the hotel and it was very overpriced. On our last day we had already checked out so we were hanging out in the lobby before our overnight train and two of the staff began talking to us. One of them spoke quite good English and was helpful in giving directions to the train station so there were some very helpful staff just unfortunately not consistent.

Overall, I think this is a great place to stay if you are looking to explore the city on your own, don't need a lot of advice from the hotel and aren't interested in meeting other tourists.

We felt very welcome at the Warriors'. At our check-in we were given vouchers for free coffee and beer :)
We stayed 4-nights in a double room with a private bathroom, it was air-conditioned (you will appreciate it in the hot and dry Xi'an), with a good Wi-fi connection, a flat screen TV was a luxury for us.
The staff was very helpful and gave us information weather we wanted to do things by ourselves or take an organized tour. Their Terracotta warriors tour seemed a bit overpriced to us (380 rmb vs. 164 rmb alone), but we decided to do the reasonably priced Huashan tour.
There is a restaurant in the same building that serves mainly western food, but their beef noodles were all right, too.
The hostel is located in the north-west corner of the city wall, just 10-minutes walk from the West gate or the Lama temple. The area is quiet and calm.
It was a good choice overall!

The place is being renovated so all the rooms are immaculate but the shared bathroom is too small for the size of the place. It has 3 showers (hot water rarely works) and 3 toilets for 3 floors (showers on 3rd floor don't work) and are in the basement so far away from 3rd floor dorms/rooms. So expect long queues when the place is busy!

Staff are friendly, bar is pretty good, place is great if you can afford ensuite!

Locations better thanks to new metro line (go to Yunxiangmen gate station, take exit D and walk back under the wall and it's there, about 10 mins walk)

Room Tip: Stay ensuite or wait till July when the bathrooms are finished.

Great hostel with spacious rooms and clean. This hostel has a nice old style interior with a garden where BBQ is held on most evenings. There is a large and tasty variety of breakfast meals for a good start to your day. Staff is friendly and super helpful and it's a good location to explore Xi'an.

I was staying here just when they had opened up for business and was one of their first International guests, and the staff were so fantastic and helpful. My time here is of fond memories and fantastic food and service. The location is great and close to all the city sights. The owner was even kind enough to drop me at the train station very early in the morning when i was leaving. Their kindness and hospitality will remain with me always. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Top level is much more airy
