A really top run hotel. Pleasure to stay there and endorse the quality of the staff and folks that run this place. The choice of the buffet at the breakfast, the quality of the Guest Relations team, Housekeeping, Front Desk.. all was just as how it should be. Professional and yet personal in a nice way!

We stayed here after 8 days in Beijing. The service and the hotel were excellent and the tour that we took through the hotel was wonderful. We used the spa, the fitness center, the Cafe and the Horizon Lounge, we can not recommend this place enough, it was a fantastic addition to our trip!

Very kind welcome, efficient check-in. Concierge extremely helpful for organising car, visit, etc. rooms are very well equipped and well maintained, big king bed and reasonably priced. Breakfast is a discovery and very good! Just pay attention, it is difficult to get a taxi ...so better organise a car with driver from the concierge. Distances are important.

The staff in this hotel was amazing! Everyone was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied. We were greeted at the door with juice and wet towels. The rooms were a standard size for a typical hotel, but there was still space for us to be comfortable. The breakfast was great with a large selection. It was pretty crowded, but they balanced the amount of people well. I think the location could have been a bit better. We really didn't get to venture out on our own as comfortably as we would have liked to, but we were in a pretty safe part of town.

Room Tip: The keycard thingy for the lights can be activated with a piece of paper. No need to juggle keys to...

A little bit of a disapointement to realise that the hotel is very far from the city center and that traveling there is a pain as cab drivers try to rip you off. The food and drinks are also over-priced. Basides this, the staff is very friendly and the room is ok. Just wondering why is this hotel #2? Is there really nothing better in this city?

We stayed here for 3 nights. The king-sized room we had seemed a bit small after the enormous room in the Park Hyatt Beijing and the bathroom felt similarly cramped, but maybe this is an unfair comparison. The building looks nice and grand. The real standout experience was the breakfast buffet which was fabulously extensive and good quality. And the overall location of the hotel seemed to be pretty central although we didn't walk around the place enough. There seemed to be a well-appointed driving range next door, about 3-4 banks with ATMs nearby, as well as a few restaurants so overall pretty convenient.

The service was very good though wanted to share an odd experience. The hotel pool is configured in a hygienic but customer unfriendly way in that the only approach to the pool requires you to walk through a wide foot pool. Makes sense if you're a swimmer, but not if you just wanted to take a stroll around the pool. And this foot pool isn't too well marked. Naturally my energetic 3-year old fell in while wearing his best clothes. One of the pool staff couldn't have been nicer in helping dry my son, his clothes and shoes all of which were drenched. Even though he didn't speak a lick of English this man couldn't have been sweeter. I wrote a detailed note of appreciation to the hotel manager about 1 day into my 3-day trip and didn't receive even an acknowledgement which was rather odd I thought. That and generally the staff didn't speak great English. Besides these, the service was great. All in all, the rooms could have been bigger but otherwise the hotel was a good one.
