An amazing trip! If you want to make the most out of a trip to China, this is the way to do it. Our national guide, Ivan, could not have been more helpful, patient and informative. We saw so much in a relatively short amount of time, including the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors and giant pandas. The local guides (Alice, Lee and Fen) were also all very informative and helpful. The trip was seamless from start to finish. I definitely recommend a Wendy Wu tour - ideally with Ivan, he was brilliant.

My wife is Anaphylaxis to LUPIN we only found out 4 weeks before we left we were told by the staff at Wendy Wu office that this would be no problem as the tour guide would make sure the food was safe and she did even to the point she would have a special meal for my wife if she was not sure.

We have recently completed the Wendy Wu Glories of China tour and it exceeded all expectations. The service provided to us by our National Escort Grace Gaw was exceptional. From day one her knowledge and love of her home country China was evident. Her amazing knowledge and insight into Chinese history and culture made our tour absolutely amazing. The diversity of activities on our trip was fantastic. Our first stop was Shanghai where we were treated to attractions such as the beautiful Yu Gardens, a walk on the Bund to see where the old meets the new. Then an evening river cruise to witness the spectacular lights of Shanghai at night. A visit to the ancient water town Zhujiajiao was a glimpse into China's history.Our next major stop was Guilin with its beautiful lake and amazing Sun and Moon pagodas. Next we were off on a river cruise on the Li River to Yangshou seeing the picturesque karst peaks along the way. We were then taken to a small farming village to experiece everyday farm life of the locals. Such diversity within our tour made it so much more memorable. The wonders of Xian with its ancient history and the Terracotta Warriors is unforgettable. Finishing in Beijing and marveling at The Great Wall, The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace and Tenanmen Square finished the best tour we could have imagined. All accommodation was of a very high standard and centrally located. Wendy Wu offered several optional tours which were well worth the extra cost and most times due to the Wendy Wu name our tickets were upgraded. Each city had its own Local Guide in addition to your National Guide who offered additional information on each area.Our first 3 local guides , Grace, John and Grace were excellent with only our last guide in Beijing not so informative which was our only disappointment.. We will definitely travel with Wendy Wu again if travelling to other countries. Once again thanks to Grace Gaw our national escort. China you did not disappoint.
