we just back to the hotel from Jin Sha and can't wait to share the delicious food experience with the trip advisor readers.

These are the best "Sung Fish Soup" and "fat pork" i ever had in the chinese restaurant.

Must Try. Worth and actually not as expensive as we think to din at Four Seasons.

During our 4 days trip in Hangzhou, we came to Jinsha twice for dinner. It was amazing decor, service and food quality. All the dishes were truly good. I would highly recommended it.

Our group ate at Jin Sha two nights in a row during a conference. The first night we went because we needed a good, relaxing meal, but we were so impressed by the food and the decor that we brought cleints back the next night. Exceptional ingredients and great food. The menu is a ltitle too crowded, with some clunker dishes along with some fantastic ones, so picking well and asking the wait staff is important. Just walking into the Four Seasons is relaxing, and it is a long walk from the lobby to the restaurant, but there are places to stop and things to look at along the way. The meals were well paced, and they ask how you want it served (family style or not). The "chilled glutinous dumplings" (Mmmmmm!) were a big hit for dessert, as was the honey glazed BBQ pork appetizer. This has been my tenth trip to China, from HK to Guilin and everywhere in between, and this is probably the best restauarant I have had the pleasure of eating in while visiting China. Very, very good.

Jin Sha, located on the property of the Four Seasons Hangzhou, is a great restaurant for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is decorated in a modern interpretation of the classic Hangzhou architecture with a wonderful patio that overlooks the Four Seasons lagoon complete with coy and a waterfall. The ambiance is modern Chinese and casual, but not too much so that is loses its specialness.

The food is a combination of local delicacies, Chinese classics and several new interpretations that, on the whole, are fantastic. We ate two lunches and two dinners there during our stay and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. They have a special lunch menu, as well, that offers some wonderful selections not available at dinner including Dim Sum that is world class.

The service is also a high point to Jin Sha. The wait staff is friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. They are knowledgeable about the menu and their English is excellent, so you can have a dialogue about the options if you are unsure. They recommended a dessert that we would have never tried (a rice/pumpkin concoction) that was so good, we ordered again the second night.

We were guests at the Four Seasons, so we were able to wonder around the property a bit and get a look at the VIP rooms. These are extraordinary. Each room was meticulously decorated and had some form of an outdoor patio or veranda in which guests could enjoy the unbelievable gardens of the Four Seasons. I have been working in China since 1996 and been in a lot of VIP rooms for meals, but these were an absolute step above anything I have seen.

Being a restaurant on the Four Season's property, I was expecting outrageously high prices and although I would never call Jin Sha a bargain, there is quite a bit of value when you consider the quality of the food, the level of service and the atmosphere. Even if you are not a guest, I highly recommend the JIn Sha for at least one night while you are in Hangzhou.
