This is the smallest hotel room I've ever seen - so if you are sharing the room, make sure it is someone you are super comfortable with!

To be fair, it is as space-efficient and well-appointed as it can possibly be, given the size. Everything is clean and comfortable, although the toilet room smelled like urine all the time.

But other than that, everything else was great.
- Awesome free ramen every night
- Lovely onsen area - small but not crowded
- Delicious breakfast (my personal fave was the fruit and waffles) - can get crowded
- Amazing location in the heart of everything

I have been visiting Sapporo, and have stayed at "Dormy Inn PREMIUM" for the second time during my last visit. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. It is just close to anywhere one wants to go. The service is superb. For those of you who fancy sauna there is one on the second floor along with the hot mineral baths. If I go to Sapporo yet again I shall most definitely stay at "Dormy Inn PREMIUM." Cheers!

Stayed here for 2 nights during the Sapporo Snow Festival.
This is a basic japanese chain hotel, so room is small but clean and comfortable. Room has a separate toilet and shower. Double bed is small but comfortable, and can fit an asian couple.
Hotel has a small onsen which is nice. But i am not sure if this is real hot spring water or just hot water from the tap. But it is nice to come to relax and soak in the onsen especially after a day out in the freezing cold weather.
There is free coffee available at the hotel lobby in the morning and afternoon. Free ramen is served from 2130-2300 every night, but dont expect anything fancy. Its just a basic ramen to fill the tummy if one is hungry.
Hotel is non smoking but there are smoking rooms availabe at the lobby, and at certain floors too, so no need to go out to take a smoke.
Some rooms face the shopping arcade, so there wont be a view, and these are the rooms to avoid.
Location wise is good, located at Tanuki koji shopping arcade. Very near to Susukino for its restaurant and night life. Closed to Pole Town too, an underground shopping arcade.
Stayed here during the Snow Festival and paid Y14000 per night for a double room which is very expensive but all hotels in sapporo jacked up their price during this week.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms that face the shopping arcade - NO VIEW !!!!

My husband and I stayed here for one night after our flight from Sapporo was canceled. It is a business hotel so the rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. The onsen was quite good, and the buffet breakfast, although we paid exttra, was very good. The room cost us just 7400yen or so for a double bed, booked on the day. The location is handy, though not right in front of a station, which is perhaps why its a good price.

Dormy Inn Sapporo has all the basic amenities of a Japanese hotel, i.e. sleepwear, towels, toiletries, etc, and on top of that, it also has a mini kitchenette, equipped with a kettle and an IH heater. The common bath boasts a sauna, indoor and outdoor baths.

Being in the Tanukikoji region does has some benefits, like being close to Susukino(5 mins away) and Odori Park(10mins away)which are the two major locations for the Sapporo snow festival. Also, good food can be easily found as well. However, it is about 30mins away from the Sapporo station, which is a bit of a walk for people carrying heavy luggage. It can be accessed via subway to Susukino or Odori stations but the walk is a lot more scenic.

For those who get hungry at night, Dormy Inn also provides a free supper service from 2130-2300hrs.

If you find the pillows uncomfortable, replacements can be found in the room next to the common baths on level 2.

An added bonus is that most of the lobby staff speak some English.

stayed there over the Xmas holiday, very expensive on Christmas eve, but get back to reasonable level afterward. cannot expect a lot from these business hotel, very small room, but amazingly that they have a small stove inside the room. Did not pay for the extra 1000 yen breakfast, but seems good, with sashimi rice. also worth mentioning that they have late night ramen as snack. A bit of walking from the subway station but can go via underground shop street.

At night,I can enjoy the hot spring. They make me feel comfortable. After that,I can have the free noodles.Thats can save my money for dinner.I can chose the pillow that I want .And the best part is...I can play the horse ridding for free while watching TV.
