Weekly Sapporo 2000 & Annex
Reviewed 18 February 2014

Nothing luxurious about this place, but everything was just nice and comfortable. The thing that i love the most was their toilet (except the size of it), the bidet is fully automatic and the water heating was great as well. Location wise, it's close to everything and the nearest tube is just a 5mins walk and close to some convenience store and some eateries. And if you're interested to check out something unique, there's a "LOVE" hotel just beside this place. Overall, it's comfortable and everything was ok. Nothing much to shout about, just nice if you're on a short skiing trip to Sapporo.

Part of the fun during travels is to be able to cook one’s own meal with the great ingredients from the local markets. Well at least that’s what we thought when we booked the hotel in Sapporo. We purposely looked for a hotel with kitchenette and landed with Weekly Sapporo.

It’s not a hotel, nor a motel. It’s…a studio in a building in very interesting neighborhood where “love is in the air and everywhere around you.” However the district is all about convenience – close to great restaurants, train station, markets and shops. The deluxe room in the Annex (new building) is not too comfy but has everything – kitchenette (as expected), bath, toilet, 2-person sofa, TV, wired internet. Speaking of which please don’t let the wired internet bother you, because you can get a WiFi AP from the counter in the old building.

At any rate, if you are in town for the food and go-abouts, this is the place to stay. If you care about the big comfortable beds and luxury toiletry, book somewhere else.

Room Tip: The Annex has better rooms. You can book the room directly from the hotel website. The staff will...

It is in the middle of the party area of Sapporo. If you want a night on the town, it is a great hotel. A little dead in the day.

The staff are very kind and helpful. You can rent a ton of stuff for free, and even if you break it (or lose) they may not force you to pay. Nothing bad to say about this place, but the walls are a bit thin by Western standards, so if that bothers you, you may need to avoid this place.

Room Tip: The Annex and the main hotel are different. I lived in the annex and found it great.

A little bedsit in Southern part of town. Well located but in the "Love" hotel area. Funny if your child is too young to undertand, seedy otherwise. Located a short walk from Nakajimakoen station.

Easy walk to all shopping and attractions. Nakajima Koen is quite nice too. No supermarkets close by so Lawson Station or Seicomart or buy in centre of town.

No cots either. Possibly the smallest elevator I've eer been in also.

Room Tip: Nonsmoking for sure.
