The Rihga Royal is a tall building, with great views from the upper floors. It is across the street from the Hiroshima Museum of Art, a block away from the old Hiroshima castle (which was rebuilt after the a-bomb at the end of WWII destroyed it), and a few blocks away from the site of that August 6, 1945 atom bomb strike and the Peace Museum commemorating that event. Other locations of interest in and around Hiroshima are readily acessible by taxi or train, and there is a tram line station in the same block. The hotel is well-run and relatively commodious. There is a shopping center next door for almost anything one might want. The hotel staff is well trained, courteous and friendly. A nice place to stay while seeing Hiroshima!
