The most wow factor of this hotel is the extraordinarily large designers boutiques surrounding it from all four sides. Tucked away in a quiet location and only a stone throw from the whatever little hustle and bustle of the downtown and the china town which has acquired a new life since the chinese have started to visit this city. Breakfast is average, there is nothing more than the expected average fare. Rooms are mid size but the bathroom and shower being in two separate sections is a little cumbersome.
Service is with a smile and the view from the top,(reception is on the 17th floor) is fantastic. This hotel is the typical antiseptic, safe bet.

This hotel is well worth it. Get the executive level and enjoy the breakfast and the items in the minibar without additional cost. Excellent location, service, amenities and food. We enjoyed welcome drinks on at the terrace bar and had lunch at medium rare (kobe beef) overlooking the harbor. It was amazing. What a gem.

My family spend 4 nights at this hotel during our spring break. In short, this will be our choice of hotel to stay in Kobe from now on. The hotel room, service, attention to details were one of the best I have experienced. We had 5 year old son with us and they provided him with small slippers - same color same material as ones they provided for adult guest!! All drinks including beer and sake in mini refrigerator were free! And if you are shopping at Louis Vuitton store (located just out side of hotel first floor), they will deliver your newly acquired bags to the room for free. And if you need to purchase a Lamborghini to drive around in Kobe, the dealership is just around a corner as well.
