This place is managed by its owner. It has 3 rooms. One with tatami mat was great. The bathrooms are shared. The place is very clean, well kept, and the service are prOvided by the owner lady Hiro.
The issue is you will have to climb up 2 levels or at least 1 level. The breakfast was splendid. She was very generous e and lavish - with salads, coffee, fruit, breads, soup, all very well served.
I would recommend the 8 Tatami mats room. Otherwise normal rooms are nice too. Very close from Sizeria and a Sushi place. A minutes walk from a public bath. The lady even dropped us when we arrived and also the next day to the Kinkakuji Temple, which is a few minutes away. She is also quite familiar with locations in Kyoto. She speaks almost no English but is very helpful and sweet.
Overall a nice experience.
