Very clean hotel, free coffee, water and hot choco but rooms are small. A hard to find hotel especially if it's your first time. Rest in between shopping and going around osaka is hard to do because location is a bit far ( about 15 min. walk) from train station and from shopping area. But if you're into walking, the hotel is just fine.

We visited in October 2013. The hotel is not that easy to find after dark. It is about a 15 minute walk from Nanba station, which is fine if you travel light. Reception is not at ground level, but one level up which also makes it slightly more difficult to locate. But once there, it is well located for access to local restaurants and bars. It was much easier making our way back to the station the next morning. The map on the website is not easy to navigate, but the map provided at the hotel was much better.

Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and put up with our poor Japanese. The reception area is spacious with a free drink corner - great for thirsty travellers.

We were upgraded to a larger room, which was a pleasant surprise. If you search carefully you'll find the internet connection. Images on their website are pretty accurate, although the room is showing signs of wear. It was very clean, compact but comfortable.

The restaurant at street level was perfect for breakfast. It was buffet style and cost approx. 500 yen per person. The food was more Japanese style than Western. If you were passing by with your dog, there is a special menu for your beloved pet.

As a very reasonably priced business hotel (one of the cheapest I could find in the area) it was great for the one night stopover we did. I would hesitate to stay there longer, particularly if we were in the regular room that we booked, as I can only imagine that it was extremely small.

Overall, a really good budget hotel.

Room Tip: Upgrade to larger room if you can afford it.

We booked a deluxe room with 1 single bed and 1 queen bed. It has wifi and there is free coffee and drink at second floor pantry.

There is also 2 washers and dryers to rent. 100 yen each time. We can also use the laundry items like hangers, washing powder and clothe pegs.

However, the room is very small for 3 persons. After we put down our luggage, there is not much space left.

The location is quite strategic and walking distance to Namba train station. There is also a convenient store downstairs.

Room Tip: Choose a bigger room

the hotel is ok (little old, but comfy rooms, small - even for japenese standarts), but breakfest is unacceptable (I have never had such terrible food in Japan), I wouldn't stay here again, location is fine

Staff are courteous, rooms are on the small side but are neat and serviceable. I thought the location is sound with it being10minutes walk from jr namba station and 5 minutes, if that from the markets. Bakery, coffee shop, Mcd's and other food outlets within a stones throw from the hotel. Only let down was electric town itself, where the hotel markets itself, just not as alive as I might have expected. Complimentary drinks machine should not go without a mention on those balmy Osaka evenings. I would recommend it to others for sure.

This Hotel is located about 10 minutes away (by foot) from Nanba Station. Which makes it pretty convenient and a good base to explore Osaka. You can easily walk to Dotonbori or to one of the many malls and shopping arcades.

The Hotel doesn't look like much outside, but it is equipped very well. The Lobby - on the 2nd floor - is nice and big. There's laundry machines, free snacks, free coffee and sodas available all the time!
WiFi is available only in the lobby area...which is too bad. The rooms are - as usual for japanese cities - on the smaller side. But they surely are big enough for two and the luggage. A good aircon, flatscreen, clean bathroom and even a couch was there, which was good to have a late-night drink during watching some japanese TV-shows.

The Hotel's at a main street, but this street gets quiet around 9pm already. Which is good for a quiet sleep. The downside is that it feels a bit unsafe, walking back late night. Some shady characters sometimes hung out around the Hotel area (outside). Good thing is, there's a 7/11 attached to the Hotel...good to do some shopping. Some food options are close-by too.

The front desk could have been friendlier though. Not really welcoming or helpful....quite strict I have to say.
But besides that this Hotel is a very good value here in Osaka. Location's good....besides the too-quiet street at night. Rooms are very nice and they offer lots of things for free. For this price so close to Nanba it is really a good option.
