In Japan one normally goes to sushi restaurants but one fish is not commonly found due to the skill needed to make it safe for consumption. This is fugu or blowfish and Osaka-the-food-city is the ideal place to try.
Zuboraya is but one of the restaurants specialising in this but is one of the more famous. It's casual but in need of a makeover as it looks dated inside.
We tried a fugu course dinner which consisted of the various ways one can eat this fish. This is highly recommended as it showcases the different types and perhaps you can choose which you like best at the end.
