I stayed two nights in this very conveniently located hotel. It is located on top of the Umeda railway and subway station, so you don't even need to leave the building to take either form of transport. I used it as convenient base to visit nearby Kyoto during a weekend, as hotels in Osaka are much cheaper than in Kyoto during weekends. The hotel lobby might not be that easy to find in the huge building, but there are indications if you are able to spot them. As this is Japan, the station neighbourhood is very safe, so no worries here.
I stayed in a room on the Executive Floor, allowing free access to the executive lounge with free drinks and snacks, as well as two internet PC's. The room itself was not that large, but sufficient for one person, and it had a marvellous rain shower, extensive courtesy set, and everything was very clean and in good working order. Despite being on top of the railway station, the room was very quiet. Check-out was possible at a special counter on the Executive floor, which made departure very smooth.
As breakfast was not included in my room price, I had it in one of the many coffee shops in the station, on the ground floor of the hotel.
All in all a very efficient choice on a great location.More
