This small business hotel is no-frills. The location is half way between Osaka station and Oebashi underground station. The area has many love hotels, restaurants, hostess bars, and is a little seedy (well, seedy by Japan standards). It is a short walk to the Umeda station with all the shopping malls and attractions there (and a 390 yen train to Kyoto - highly recommended), and only three kilometres from Osaka city centre.
There is free wi-fi, although it's not very fast.
The rooms are tiny, the bathroom even smaller, they smell of smoke but are otherwise clean. The best feature for the business traveller is the coin laundry in the basement. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic Japanese but easily satisfying to me, in a small area next to the lobby.
Proper espresso coffee can be found on the nearest main road, vending machines of course provide the rest.
As a non-smoker, it's hard to recommend this hotel. If you smoke, and only use the room to sleep in, then it's not a bad choice.More
