The name might be a little bit strange to me, but it was a very good location for two nights. Just around the corner from the Osaka Castle and still close to restaurants. The bathroom and the room where not that small for Japan. Very good standard and clean. Can strongly recommend this place!

The Lutheran Hotel is just 2minutes walk from Tanimachi Yonchome Station,Check in is easy,i also find the entrance door of the hotel beautiful and unique.
The room is clean, spacious and beautiful comparable to 4/5star Hotel In Japan, and it comes with the Price of 3 Star Hotel!(What a bargain)
The Hotel is also surrounded by many izakaya and restaurant,so i enjoy exploring the neighbourhood at night

The hotel is well located and the staff is very accommodating. The only down side for this hotel for us was that it was off the subway rather than the JR line. The room is ok sized and has everything you need for an easy stay. They were able to hold our bags for us before check-in, which made the trip much easier.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It is located at 3 minutes walk from the station.
Rooms are big and comfortable. Vending machines and Reception available 24h.
Cleaning is not 100% perfect, but it is surely not bad (you are still in Japan)
They lack a little with English but their efforts to help you fill the gap.
No noises, no troubles, quiet nights and relaxing moments are what you can expect from your visit to this structure.
Wifi super, beds amazing.
I do not put the 100% score just to avoid to mislead the reader: this is not a luxury hotel, just a normal good structure.

Room Tip: ask the staff to explain how to use aircon

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in January. This hotel caters mostly to Japanese business travelers, but it does a very good job of catering to Western tourists too. The hotel is only a half block from a subway station and a 10 minute walk to Osaka Castle. There are 6 convenience stores and some ATM’s within a 2 block radius. The area is safe, modern, and clean. It was an easy 45-minute ride (on an express train and then subway) from Osaka’s Kansai Airport. It’s also a 25 minute ride (on two subway lines) to Shin-Osaka station, to catch a “bullet train”.

The front desk staff speaks English quite well. Our room was not as large as a North American hotel room but it was large by Japanese standards. There was no English on the temperature controls in the room and no room safe. The shower was strong and excellent. The bed was firm but still comfortable to sleep on. The Wi-Fi worked well. It was quiet too.

The breakfast buffet was really tasty, good quality, and they had enough variety. They have both Japanese and Western food. The only problem is all the labels are in Japanese, including the allergy warnings. They had several healthy choices, including fresh salmon. The buffet costs 1,000 Yen per person but it was definitely a good deal. You won’t find any breakfast place nearby which is that cheap and that good.

In summary, we would definitely stay here again. It’s a 3 star hotel at a reasonable price with a good location.
