It was a bit of a hike from the JR train station -- would've caught a taxi next time. Reception was dark and trendy and smelled awesome, though the staff were the most stand-offish of all the hotels in Japan we stayed at. They acted like they had better things to do and were not friendly at all.
We were lucky enough to get a room on the 14th floor and could see some of the Dotonbori area from our room. It was a wonderfully comfy room with a massive bed. Large wardrobe, big TV, desk area, pj's, fridge, kettle, room temperature control all there. The bathroom had the Japanese-style washing area with a big tub nearby. It was segregated from the main bathroom by a glass door. Bottles of water and all the toiletries you could want were provided.
No free wi-fi throughout the hotel was our only complaint. Our mobile phones seemed to refuse all other free wi-fi connections in Osaka as well so we were without internet access the whole time we were there. Paid $AU293/night, for a Superior Double Room so not the cheapest either.
