Spacious room, spacious bathroom. We loved the layout of the bathroom. It has a nice decor and everything looked new. Very convenient as it's near an exit from Namba station. Highly satisfied with our 4-night stay.
- Free Wifi
My husband and I stayed here for five nights on a sightseeing trip to Japan. The hotel is very conveniently located - walking distance of Namba and Shinsaibashi Station, a three-minute walk to the main drags of Namba with access to tons of dining and shopping options.
The room was small, but most are in Japan. It was clean and modern, and the bathroom was quite large with a separate area for the toilet and a large Japanese-style bath. The bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, hair dryer, etc. The halls and lobby were a little dark, but I think it was part of their "hip" vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a great location for shopping, site seeing and transportation. The rooms are very modern and clean but the smallest we had in Japan. We had a triple and there was only a couple of inches between the beds. The bathroom was very nice and a decent size. The front desk bordered on rude. We had no interaction with them after check in.
My partner and I found this hotel well placed relative to Namba Subway and the shopping arcade. The rooms were clean, the service was prompt and the cafe downstairs makes some lovely latte art. The breakfast provided on the third floor was a mixture of Japanese and Western. They offered French toast as part of the Western selection. There isn't a lot of ledges in the room if you need to use coat hangers to dry wet clothes, but you can manage to use the curtain over the window vent. Also, ask directions but near the onsen is a coin operated laundry. Enjoy your stay as we did.
I like your hotel. Generally speaking, it's nice and very clean. But we got the room in the end of aisle, it's much smaller than other rooms. The beds are sunk and pillows hard and too high. Not comfortable to sleep on a bed like this.
We are going to your hotel again in Feb.2014 with my families. Hopefully we will get better rooms.
Its just two little thing that turned my impression of this hotel.
1) We asked for 1 more pack of instant coffee one day and the front desk reception replied bluntly: "NO, NO COFFEE, YOU GO BUY YOURSELF" and hung up the phone. Even when considering that English is their second language, this is not what we expect from a so called 'Michelin Guide' hotel.
2) One day we left our key card in the room and ask for a spare one, the hotel front desk did not even asked about our name and past us a spare key card. Imagine some random guy just walked in and did the same.
For the price we paid, the service standard is appalling, not even up to standard of a normal 3 star Japanese hotel. Never received and replies after complaining to managers. Won't consider this place again.
