This is a really comfortable and stylish hotel. Our room could not have been nicer. Really great facilities too (especially the large TV, free Wifi and fridge). The only absence was a safe. Very conveniently located near Shinaibashi tram stop, though it is a little far from the train station and sights north of the city if that is a priority.

I have been travelling Japan since the early 1980s and have tried many different hotel options, mostly upper end, especially if someone else was paying. Travelling with my partner and another couple for 17 days this October I tried using this chain in three different cities. I was very impressed by this hotel and its chain. Very good value for money, spotlessly clean with incredible breakfasts especially if you like Japanese food- but even bacon and eggs was available . Accommodating staff that are often more helpful than those in more expensive hotels. Everyone in our party was of the same opinion. This hotel chain makes Japan an affordable and throughly comfortable.

Room Tip: A tip for all of these Business Budget hotels that are all over Japan is that the rooms are small an...

A very impressive hotel that delivers exactly what it says on the box. Clean, modern, reasonably priced, well located, and professionally run. We would happily return here if we are in the area again.

This hotel has big and comfortable rooms, very clean and the staff also are very kind. They helped to find some touristic places and also they arranged a reservation for a trip. The breakfast is mainly Japanese (very few western), but it was really delicious! In spite the hotel is located in a very busy and noise street at nights, to the rooms does not reach any noise, being so quite and peaceful. Also this hotel has a very good location, close to the Chinatown, different stores and touristic places around.

We found the Richmond the deserving top of hotels in nagasaki
Spacious clean rooms and 50m to a direct tram to the train station.
Nagasaki is a delight and perfect to experience the South Island laid back atmosphere that's a million miles from the frenetic crowds in tokyo.
Our hotel staff were excellent, friendly and professional.
We needed a TV with hdmi in our room to watch movies and they even sent up a brand new sharp tv as ours was built into the wall with no inputs.
Breakfast was more of a Japanese affair but manageable and again clean and friendly.
Overall we would highly recommend nagasaki and the Richmond hotel. Everyone from the manager down were courteous and professional.

As budget travellers, we upgraded to the Richmond as upon arriving in Nagasaki we found most budget accommodation booked out or extortionately priced for drop ins. In this context, the Richmond was one of few hotels offering value for money rates. It was a treat as the rooms are the biggest we have seen in Japan. Compared to all our other hotels, the standard double seemed liked a suite! Shower was great too, as were the body shop products in the bathroom.
The reception area is very stylish and the location is fun...nestled amongst the party street, yet the rooms were very quiet.
Only (very minor) criticism is that this was the only hotel we stayed in in Japan that didn't offer umbrellas to guests. In rainy season this seems standard elsewhere.
Pedantic gripes aside, this hotel deserves its top billing on tripadvisor and we would stay here again if we return to Japan in holiday, rather than traveller, mode.

This hotel is in the heart of Chinatown with all the activity and restaurants. It's easily accessible from the tram "Shianbashi" stop. Every stop has its own unique name like a subway. Single line from station.
The hotel modern and efficient. The rooms are spotless and spacious. A/C worked well and quietly in hot weather. Big screen TV. Washlet toilet - very handy. Fridge. Laundromat on premises. Front desk staff are professional and gracious.
The breakfast buffet is authentic Japanese - rice, soup, fish, salad, pickles, etc. We loved it.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
