First of all they do not take plastic. Cash or checks only.
We visited on a Sunday, and they were offering a buffet style dinner.
Offered was tasteless broiled fish, fried thin fish fillets. Baked chicken, and popcorn shrimp which was the favorite at our table. They also offered many sides. Corn, mash potatoes, gravy, broccoli casseroles, green beans, and fresh salad fixings. For desert they offered pudding, pies apple, and cherry. Theirs cookies and ice cream.
There is not any Sugar Free deserts. Which is quite disappointing because there are alot of diabetics in this area.
For the pricei would go elsewhere so we could have leftovers.

Great little buffet for Sunday lunch after going to church. Good home-style country cooking. The chicken n' dumplings are one of my favorites. The cobblers are also wonderful. So to sum it up, there's something for everyone in the family, from the fried chicken to the meatloaf to the cookies and ice cream, it's sure to please. But take cash, they don't accept credit or debit cards.

The food was horrible. We were told it was very good so we looked forward to the experience. Have never been so disappointed. Will never go back.

Jay's is only open from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, Thursday through Saturday, but it's worth the wait. An older restaurant, but clean, good service, you can get your food fried or broiled and even the baby shrimp can come sauteed in butter.Their flounder is the thickest in the area and is not overwhelmed by the breading. Great prices and the seafood platter is big enough for two.
