Rakuzen has become my favourite not only because its location (Rakuzen at Publika) but also their food menu. Taste is oishi (delicious). Fresh & authentic particularly their soba, udon, nabe, tempura, sushi, sashimi and many more has similiarity with the food in Japan! Rakuzen also has Japanese chef on sushi counter so anything on this counter guarantee same taste like in Japan! Price is good too. One person eating set meal cost RM20-RM40. My favourite here are Nabeyaki udon, gindara, sashimi & tempura. Operating hour until 10pm but walk in as late as 10pm they will still accept you! Ambience & indoor design was average. Bright, lots of wooden design & clean. Service quite above average considering it is always full. Waiting time not too long if you are in the queu. Plus, walk to the mall they will call you when your table is ready. Some staff are very friendly & attentive. Highly recomended

We usually end up here when we're in the vicinity and looking for a place to eat. The lunch set meals are good for the price, and the service tends to be efficient. They also have a nice ambience, and some of the tables at the back are in their own little rooms, which makes for a cosy dining experience.

As always, i have been a regular guest for the past few years, The restaurant has never let me down. Quality of sushi is always fresh and its always value for money.
Every few months they will change their special menu according to season and seafood availability.
The bento set is always the cheapest around all KL i would say, portions are big and plenty of choices.
Best to make reservation for Saturday and Sunday night dining....cause you might be put on the waiting list :)

On different occasions I ordered the Stamina roll (eel and avocado with tamago), the Giant Roll (Futo Maki), and the Dragon Roll (fried shrimp with avocado). The Stamina and Dragon rolls were absolutely mouthwatering, probably the best I have ever had. The eel was thick and tender, with a nice sauce, and the fried shrimp in the Dragon roll was tender ans sweet as well. They weren't kidding about the "giant" roll, it was eight large pieces!

The sushi staff worked as fast as they could to accommodate orders, while still keeping the quality and presentation very good.

The wait staff was inconsistent, and sometimes hard to find.

I highly recommend Rakuzen!
